Shape Catcher

Triangle, circle, and square blocks drop down three columns and you have to catch them while pressing the corresponding shape buttons. As far as I can tell, its mostly bug free now but I'd be interested if anybody finds anything or has suggestions for improvement. My levels also don't get much exposure and I've poured a lot of effort into this one so sorry if for being a noob here.

I've also been thinking about adding power ups, like if you hit so many blocks consecutively you get all three columns protected for a short while.

Nice premise, and the timing of the logis seems to run pretty smoothly (the first few levels, the shapes were pretty slow to spawn, but I suppose that's the intention in the end.)

I thought that the multiple button presses were a glitch at first, then I realised it in your description!

Overall it's good, though I think the design could use a little work. You've gone for a retro type game, so why not go full retro with the design! Have a hologram line instead of the metal casing you use for the grid, and set the level to 100% dark. This would look a lot cleaner overall. If changing to holo seems too much to you, at least consider making the level darker, it'll add to the retro feel.

Of the music, I have to say Coldplay didn't really seem to fit in here lol - but the second theme, the dancey thing, was good for the level.

Yay overall from me, some mroe improvements and this'll be a pretty nifty level!

What a great puzzle game. Never seen a concept like this one before. I really enjoyed the changable bgm feature (love the Viva La Vida mix), and the overall experience was just enjoyable. I could see this concept becoming a great theme in the future. There was a minor glitch of two pieces falling at once, which should be looked at but otherwise, I had a fun time playing this one. Thanks for the input, I'm glad you like it. As for the darkness issue, there's actually global lighting triggers at levels 5, 10, and 15 that darken gradually. There are several timers in 16 microchips responsible for the block drops so it'll take me a while to sort out why there's double drops. :S
