Is there anyway you get slack in ropes or winches so that theyre sagging? i rmemeber being able to in LBP1, i dont know why theyd take it away. And did anyone else notice the fire and smoke in LBP2 looks far worse than the fire and smoke in LBP1...?

Not to be curt... but I don't think anything of what you just said is correct. I'm almost 100percent sure there was no slack in strings or wenches ever. And smoke and fire look MUCH better in lbp2. Smoke just takes a lot more tweaking. But in the end, it looks better.

Slack in ropes? >_< didnt understand that part. But what you mean about the fire and smoke thing, its not better or worse, itsjust different, I mean they look really different, the Fire in LBP1 looked like...idk like more cartoony or something. In LBP2 it kinda looks more realistic more dynamic or something like that. And smoke is easier to make now and better .. but basicly XD They should change the name from "Smoke Machine" to---> Lag Creating Machine lol XD

well whatevr, just an opinion. But with the ropes, i meant that if you have a rope going across from a wall to another wall just 20 away, but have the rope distance set to higher than 20, its wouldnt stay straight, it would sag down like a real rope. The same thing could happen with winches

The same thing could happen with winches That didn't happen. ._. I have never seen any slack in any type of connector ever. I'm sure people would have used them for vines/etc if that was the case. I know I would have.

There is, never has been, and doubt, there will ever be slack in connectors. I agree though, there should be an option as to whether there is slack in the ropes. And even a tweak to allow them to be solid. Like if you put it on a block, it wouldn't go through it. It would lay on the block like real rope. That way we can make pulleys, and other string involved mechanics. Maybe even make it thicker so sackboy can run on it. So far, the only thing like this is the feather on the ink jar from Davinci's level.
