AeroForce22's Music Gallery

Archive: 5 posts

Hi all! I just published a music gallery today containing all of my finished music in the retail version. I must first apologize for the lack of gallery design. I understand it's extremely bland as of right now, but I've already started work on a more stylized music gallery which will be up shortly. On that same note (pun), I must also apologize for the lack of prizing the songs. My reasons for this are as follows: 1) I need to put proper stickers on each music sequencer, I can't just put my logo! 2) I need to come up with a clever way of distributing the prizes to those who want them. These issues will be taken care of when I update with the new visuals of the gallery, so check back to either this thread, or the level itself within the weekend for the update level.

Now onto the good stuff. It's a level that contains 6 songs as of right now, and they are as follows:
- Music Sequencer Featurette Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgi7YIxLq88&feature=related)*
- Twilight Princess - Sacred Grove (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GahOs0x6_l8)
- Twilight Princess - Midna's Desperate Hour (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt9vjwBfXUE)
- Space Epic (Composed by Me)
- Banjo-Tooie - Jolly Roger's Lagoon [Atlantis] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY4qEPmRAos)*
- New Soul - Yael Naim [Piano Arrangement] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtslwxL_Leg)**

* These songs were manually transferred from the beta through taking photos of each individual piece of music on my cell phone in the beta client, then put into the retail version by hand. It was tedious, but worth it. :] More from the beta will be coming with time as it's a rather annoying process and I'd hate to cheat and import.

** These songs are different from their links. However, they are generally the same. :] (Usually means it's an alternate arrangement to a song).

Enjoy!

I certainly could. However, I do have a few requirements on song suggestions:
1) I will only take songs that I genuinely like and/or find to be "useful" in a sense that they'd be more than for one specific level (say, making a song for a game remake).
2) Unless I'm in love with the song, I will require some form of sheet music. I'm able to make music by ear (see the Featurette Song), but it takes quite a bit of time to do. So if I end up doing this for a song, it would have to be one that I wouldn't mind spending countless hours into transcribing.

That's it though. I do tend to get requests often from friends, but most request lack sheet music, so I can't necessarily make them in most cases. Feel free to request though. :] I like a variety of music styles as well, and I want to test the sequencer and try to capture a lot of different music styles to further expand my composing ability.
