Robo rescue level 1

Hi, anyone want to give me feedback on a couple of my levels?
They involve finding and carrying sackbots to the goal. Not many plays yet but most of the feedbacks been pretty positive.

The platform has very interesting premises but there were annoying parts like making sure I was on the right layer when I jumped, that sort of thing, Some of the platforming mechanics seemed flimsy to me as well. More importantly the sackbots, did nothing, literally, it would have been more intersting if the sackbots would run away, better yet, instead of carrying them, make them follow you for added challenge. Overall needs a lot of work to earn a 'like' from me.2011-02-24 08:32:00

Thanks. I'll try your levels tomorrow when I have more time.

Having the sackbots idle was concious design choice rather than laziness. This level is intended to be a fetch quest not follow-the-leader type puzzle platformer like the factory of a better tomorrow levels. I can't really be responsible for your expectations, I certainly didnt advertise it to be anything more than it was. Also I can't really make it more challenging (an odd remark coming from someone who didnt complete the stage) as I'm already getting enough complaints about that.

If you can point out any platforms that gave you trouble I could improve them, I know its difficult to explain in words a specific point in a level...

Do we have any other takers?

Well I really like this - great concept, smooth gameplay and just enough challenge factor to keep me trying.

The style of the level overall is good, and I think the relatively simplistic design adds to the gameplay here, as too many complexshapes might make the platforms too challenging.

Having the bots on idle is understandable as far as I can see. If they were set to flee, they'd go back down to the bottom of the level, and the level would become frustrating. If they were set to follow, what would be the point in fetching them?

Overall I gave you a yay, and had a great time playing!

That was pretty fun and challenging! I even got a deep blue pin for drowning like a moron. The only thing that was frustrating for me is having to restart from the bottom, but more of a minor gripe.
