I placed a magic mouth on a sequencer since i'm making a movie, and I made it long so that the person would have a lot of time to read it. There is a lot of text, so the subtitles need to be in more than one part. The problem is that the first part of the subtitles is a good amount of time, then the second part is really short, and then the third part lasts a really long time. How can I balance the duration of the subtitles?

set the counter to positional, hook a counter up to it, and make the circle button or whatever increment the timer. Then jiggle the mouths around until they're lined up properly, such that it jumps to the next mouth when the timer goes up.

Customize the time per line in the sequences (Tweak) And the mouth you can make them bigger on the sequencer if you didnt know, just grab them and use the right analog stick to make them bigger or smaller. By Bigger I mean the mouth Streches which would mean how the dialogue would last, but if that still isnt working just customize the time on the sequencer.

I think Leafy already tried making it bigger and the hold time is affecting the last visible line only. Changing the time for strip might work but it might also mess up the cut scene timing. I think your only option is to split it up until multiple mouths. This way you can say exactly how long you want each line to last. Is there any voice acting going along with the mouth?

I think using numerous mouths on the sequencer is the way to go. Subtitles can chop up big text blocks in unexpected ways. To avoid unpredictable chopping, I like to stay below the limit that a subtitle mouth can put on the screen at one time, and just use as many mouths as necessary to convey the message.
