I need several design ideas

I'm in the process of making a Duck-Hunt-like Versus game, similar to the one you find in the story levels (with ducks, incidentaly), though a bit advanced. Of all the disc-shaped targets randomly appearing on the screen, the player may only shoot at the ones that are really his. I mean, if there are 2 players, half will have to be shot by Player 1 only, and the other half by Player 2 only. If a player shoots another player's targets, he/she loses points. The first design I need is this : how to differenciate the players' targets ? Different colours would be too obvious, so I was thinking about something else... but couldn't find anything. If you have an idea, please tell me ![]() The other part of the problem, which justifies the "advanced" adjective, is that players will be able to shoot down collectable bonuses (to be kept, one at a time, and used when the user decides to). But which icons should I use ?
