I watched the intro. Looks interesting. Its obvious you care about the story which is nice to see. very nice idea of the dark fairy deleting the world around him, very "neverending story"-ish. I am interested. I will point out a couple of things if (hope you wanted criticism)

I thought the moons/planets that were set pieces during the spaceship part popping into existence broke the effect. If they were emitted off screen more, the fact that they were emitted wouldn't have stole my attention. The little fairies flying around at the end were synchronized and it had a mechanical feel to it as opposed to a mystical creative energy feel. Anyway I will keep an eye out for the continuation.

Appreciate the love, feedback and comments, i have updated according to your feedback

Moons no longer appear but fall into play keeping the feel of traveling
and fairy movements have been altered at end so they aren't syncronized
also as for the logo i'm looking for help but for now im going to tinker around for a better logo ^_^

I gotta say this is by far one of the best stories Ive ever seen, dude I can see how hard you worked on this wow.

The story was very well told, the acting was good, the scenery was amazing, and the way you told the story was incredible the part "a sack looking for a home and a princess loosing hers" that made me ..speechless XD im trying to think of a word to explain it but nope >__<.

But I look reallyyyyy foward to this, Looking on how Good this project sounds you should make this an official project here with the help of alot of other creators, but thats your decision, but either way this is amazing, the story just got me sooo hooked into this, Amazing job .

Ok so here my review that I left on LBP2

"incredible story, its awesome. The story is well created along with the different environments in the movie. The planet that you made is well done its shows different sections from the story which was very creative. One suggestion I have is to create a font for the logo at the end of the level, it will make it better. Overall incredible story, keep it up. "

I hope you make this into a level series I would love to play it XD

Woah! Good ratings! I've got it queued and I'll leave feedback later.

EDIT: Played it! Really good! I liked how you pulled the actualy Story story (that sounds weird) into your upcoming series. I think it'll be really awesome! You changed the mood the of the movie with the changing music and the visuals looked really stunning. I liked this level quite a bit and I think it is very deserving of it's excellent ratings.

That was a great film! It definately felt like a sequel to the story mode, and the camera/visuals were great as well. Nice job!2011-02-27 01:49:00

thanks for posting how to get pics into the post,im struggling with that >.< i enjoyed watching little big planet origins,i usually dont like movies, but seems to me alot of thought went into it,it was very interesting and the music was very fitting too, also i liked the scenery and characters,it looks great. i want to see the levels now haha ill be checking your earth now and again to see if they have been published

oh btw the only thing i would change would be that in some scenes you can see outside of the walls alittle,on the edges of the screen, just widen them abit it would look alot better

Cool idea - sort of like LBP fan fiction! Like everyone said, the movie had great scenery and was well produced. I really liked the effect of the king and queen fading away as you learn their fate, but the part with the queen seemed like a little bit of a cop out (was just something along the lines of "she vanished, too").

Also, try to double check your spelling and capitalization. The film seems very professionally made, but spelling mistakes detract from that. I know I saw "loosing" instead of "losing" and "it's" instead of "its", maybe others.

Nice work, though.

I don't think you have to make it better

I really liked the story, especially the "sackthing searches for his home" part, because it somehow reminds me of zidane from final fantasy 9.
Good choice of music, everything was very detailed, nice atmosphere.
I'm looking forward to the platformer part
So keep it up!

Thanks, i wish the only 4 people who rated it down would explain...but 3 of them only speak spanish and the other didn't like it becuase it wasn't a platformer... so im going to assume that's good XD im also curious why this hasn't even gotten anywhere near cool levels list on the game, 200+ people and 70+ people liked it, i say that's preety good...unless its only cool if you have 14,000 people play... in which im okay with 200+ people an dnot on cool list XD (becuase i have to admit this won't get that far unless i wait 1 year XD)2011-03-04 17:12:00

[sorry for my english]

Hey, I wached your movie a few days ago, and it was good.

I have to admit : I'm not a huge fan of movies on LBP, but you managed to create a good story, and beautiful sceneries that prevent me from leaving before the end of the movie. Anyway it's a good intro, because now I'm waiting for sequel !

If you don't have done it yet, you can look at my level in my sig.

Okay guys sory for the wait but hopefully the next part of the series will be out by the end of the week

Also im releasing a demo for this new tech i developed that will be used in the new platformer, it's a strange new concept of technology so i want people to get used to it before i just throw it at people and expetc them to use it like it's intended. I will admit the controls are a bit strange but its awesome XD

sorry for double post (but for those who care)

Spent massive time on finishing the level, i havn't been going on schedule i know, im horrible with time keeping these days but anybody on my friends list can vouche that ive spent 5-6 hours yesterday and i am still working on it, i just got through another cutscene and im just about done with the platforming, after i finish that i'll keep it for a day for polishing so that i don't dissappint anyone

Again sorry if this annoys anyone...but i havn't given up on this and i might actually make it a community project becuase i have spent alot of time on this and i have had minimal help and its very taxing >_<

The preview was great, and I can't wait for the rest of the series. The story was good and it seemed just right for the LBP universe, it wasn't to over-the-top and it fit with the main story nicely. The visuals were really solid too, the setting and characters were detailed and the withering / vanishing effects were cool. Great job on this!2011-05-20 05:16:00

I watched this earlier, but I couldn't help but watch it again! Great music selection to convey a feeling of gleeful sadness (if that makes sense xD)! I know the song is called Sadness, but the way you presented the characters and story made it seem like it was a somewhat happy beginning. Fantastically detailed scenery to accompany the story as well! I really liked the way you portrayed the passage of time as Imari was getting closer to becoming the queen. One thing I was wondering about was whether you intentionally aligned the trees with the planet's northern pole instead of rotating them to give the planet a bit more depth. That was the only thing that confused me while I was watching, but it's really no big deal. More or less, it was an excellent prologue that left me wanting more! I'd really like to see the actual level when you're done with it! 2011-05-23 21:01:00
