I have heard of an light that you can tweak so it's invisible but still emits light around it. I don't know if its a glitch item or I just don't have it but I can't find it anywhere. Can someone tell me what this item is, or if it doesn't exist how to achieve a similar effect?

It's the "bee antenna". It's in Objects. Just set visible in play mode to No.

Most lights now have the "visible in play mode" option now actually, so just look for any light that has that option.
