I'm having a bit of trouble with spawning sackbots...

I've just finished a new tool for the community today (which I will release once I have this issue resolved) but i'm having trouble with spawning SackBots. I'm trying to spawn controllable sackbots according to how many players there are in the game, but I can't seem to get it to work correctly, even if i'm using a player counter. Use 4 different one-shot emitters with 4 sensor switches, and each sensor switch be set to # of players required 1, 2, 3 & 4. -OR- Use only 1 one-shot 0.0 emitter, and use the same 4 sensor switches, but attach the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th one's to timers. The #2 set to .02, the #3 set to .04, and the #4 timer set to to .06. Send them all into an OR gate and then input that into the emitter. When 4 players spawn into the level, it should emit 4 in semi-rapid succession and then stop. You can then make them permanent by putting 1 digit counters between the sensors and the timers, or by setting the emitters max emitted to 4, depending on this- If you're doing this at multiple spawn points throughout the level, then just work it into your spawnpoint logic. For multiple spawnpoints, the 4 emitter set up would probably be best, and you can either have the emitters there at each spawn area, or have the emitters on a chip that follower-jumps to different locations when you reach them, so that you don't have 4, 8, 12, 16 and so on emitters in the level. | 2011-02-22 22:27:00 Author: Unknown User |
