Helpp meee!!!!!! Very very important

hey guys im really frustrated because i am making a level and it is 95 percent complete and i have run into a level stopping problem. ok so i have a menu (with selectors and holograms) and i cant seem to find a wy so that when i select somthing on the menu, it teleports me to the area that corrosponds to this (arcade, campaign, help ect.) PLEASEEE HELP!!!. also, i have a game camera that focusses of the menu, not sackboy, and it work fine, but when i go into play mode, the camera works, but my music and controllernator dont work!!! btw you spawn out of the cameras view and u fall straight on the controllernator so i dont know why it wont work. i try it without the camera and it works fine!!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OR I CANT FINISH MY LEVELL!!!

You may have the camera set to "Disable controller". That's what your problem sounds like because I made a menu and I had that problem. But you said Game camera...

It could have been the new update. It messed with my cameras, thank god I had the original already published.

You could try level links. But if all the mini-games and stuff are in that one level, you could do a teleporting controlinator, spawn point, or sackbots.2011-02-22 08:14:00

what r these spawn points?
will they let me go there via a menu? and do i have to pass them physically like a checkpoint?

Sounds like you are using a Cinematic Camera; that one stops a lot of stuff from occurring if it triggers right at the start of the level. I had that, too, in my level and sackboy didn't spawn and music didn't start playing until the cinematic camera finished its routine.

Edit: oh yeah, solution.. Eh, perhaps have the cinematic camera activate when the Controlinator become active (is occupied by the player). YOu can do that by wiring the Active output on the Controlinator's joypad to the camera. Not necessarily the transmitting Controlinator; if you are using a receiving one at your menu, wire that one's Active output.

ok guys so this is my third time asking this question and i am getting really frustrated as it is preventing me from finishing my level. so basically, i have a menu made from some holograms and a selector, and i need to make it so that when u pick arcade on the menu, it takes you to the arcade section, and when u click campaign, it takes you to the campaign section. please please please help me with this or maybe give me a link to a video, page or thread that answers my questions.

hey man, how are you choosing the various menu options?

i would assume you are using a selector, so let's go with that. Run the current selection into an AND gate, and into your button to choose that option.

So when you are on arcade, and you hit the X button it then says "arcade AND X have been selected, now i will transition to arcade mode"

You need to give people more information to help you.
There are several tutorials on this site for making teleporters. You just need to use one of those (if you don't feel like inventing your own) and attach the controllinator logic you are using for your menu to the teleporter. If you're using sackboy you'll need to ejecting him from the menu controllinator. If you want to use sackbots in your level, it will just be a matter of activating a cinematic camera.
