I have a "gallery of levels" called "My Little Big SpaceBook" (I built this in LBP1 and imported it into LBP2). I thought the new "Level Link" tool was just perfect for this, so even though it took a really long time, I created level links to every one of the 25 or so levels featured. They all worked fine initially, but within a day or so I noticed that a few of the links were 'broken' (they have a padlock over them). Gradually more and more became this way, and now almost all of them have this lock over them. It was so time-consuming creating these level links in the first place, I'm not about to do it all over again, unless someone can tell me that whatever I did wrong, I can do right, or whatever bug caused this (if it was a bug) has been fixed. Has anyone else experienced this? MM ... can you help identify the problem? Just to clarify, this is a gallery that features a bunch of other levels created by other people, so these are not links to my own levels. They are links to other people's levels.

If they're other peoples' levels, chances are the person who owns the level deleted it. Doing this places a lock over level links that link to the now nonexistent level. I suggest messaging the authors about this (as people have been clearing their profiles lately and deleting levels).

What aero said^, and not sure but I think if they republish the level (With an Update or something new) it would also cause for it to mess up, not sure.

Thanks. Regarding the first answer, it is quite possible that some of these people have deleted their levels (I haven't checked yet), but I know for sure that some of them have not. Regarding the second answer - I think this might be it. I have suspected that this was true, that if someone made any small fix, and republished the level, even over itself, this might mess up links people have to the level. And we all know, many people re-publish their levels frequently to try to get new visitors. If this is true about links breaking though, that is a serious annoyance, and down-side to using level links at all. I hope this can be addressed by MM. It makes me want to trash the entire plan and just do away with all the level links, if I'm going to have to fix them every other day... especially since making level links requires that you play (or at least partially play) the level, so that it's in your 'recently played' levels.
