A Case of Despair

I started on a level involving the player to shoot projectiles on advancing foes from a tower. It started off nicely with mild platforming laying out the storyline. A glitch came out of nowhere and stopped me from placing any logic onto materials into the level. This didn't hinder me, as the storyline seemed a tad bit iffy. I then began all over by createing probably on of the most in depth menus created yet. It happened quite suddenly, the exact same glitch occured probably due to an excess amount of logic on a single circuit board. Feeling a tad bit demorilized, I started again, this time with the game itself. I switched up the theme from a medievel setting to a futuristic junkyard. This provided a better game. I got to the point where i was able to switch between an explosive projectile that did different amounts of damage according to distance and a normal projectile. The logic became complecated and the circuit board started to lag. I was stumped on how to add it all up on a counter because if you switched projectiles the damage to the machine needed to stay the same. I became even more demoralized as the idea was extremely stale. I deleted the level. If you would like to use this idea, go ahead.2011-02-22 01:20:00
