Weak Bolts

Ok im making a boss for a top down shooter and it has spinning blades for hands, the problem im having is when the blade (circular saw from monster pack) hits something it just flys off, same with my moving zombie arms, when they walk into walls or each other they just fall off. Is there someway to make bolts unbreakable? also i tried a blade on holo with rotator following the hand but it either 100 dampining doesnt move or 1-99 dampining falls to the bottom?2011-02-22 00:06:00

Put a object tweaker set to un-breakable on all the objects that you don't want to break?... I'll test that out later2011-02-22 00:11:00

Yep gave that a go and no go, guess it doesnt affect bolts (just like include rigid connections doesn't)2011-02-22 00:17:00

Make the arms or whatever you're attaching the blade to heavier. If it's cardboard, change it to metal. If it's already metal, make it bigger or make it a thick layer if it's thin. The bolt's strength is based on the mass of the connected objects. You can't increase the mass of the blade (well you can with glitches, but never mind that), and the arm is the more important of the two in this case, so you'll want to increase its mass any way you can.2011-02-23 00:21:00
