TDR_Circuit Racers

This is a versus Top Down Racer with a jumping Kart. It's my first LBP2 level and I would be thankful for any comments and/or feedback... Specifically if I should lengthen the race?

Playing the level will win you a Kart so you can build your own track for it - or just pull apart my dodgy circuit boards lol.

Enjoy ;D

Thanks for the feedback mate

I was thinking of making another track now that I've got the mechanics of the level - maybe if I made it a little wider it would make it easier to avoid the walls... or maybe I'll just tweak the steering a bit. Did you play it with other people? I haven't been able to test that it works well wih multiple players, I'm a bit worried about the 'car pop out' bit with 4 sackboys.

Can someone tell me what the F4F stands for :?

Also, I've created an object with the lap counter logic used in this level, if anyone needs a lap counter, give me shout

Awesome little take on go-karts!

I'll start off by saying that the intro with the cars being put down and the ending where the camera changes were only little things - but what a huge effect they have! From the moment i saw the intro i knew i was about to play a well made level.

I loved the game play, although the car could do with a little less responsiveness, and i found myself getting stuck on the walls if i hit them, so maybe make them bouncy?

I think the jump button should be R1 because i found that it was quite awkward pressing X to accelerate and then having to hit O as well to jump. Its a great little addition though!

Im sorry to say this, but i thought the style (visual) of the level was a bit too much neon, bright circuit boards and lights. I think it would be much more eye-pleasing if you used the neon just for the edges of the tracks and obstacles. It also made it hard sometimes to differentiate between the track and the walls.

Finally i think it would be nice if you had an option to skip controls cut scene, because it was helpful the first time but got annoying when i replayed.

Also, if you could cut the end waiting time down to like 5 seconds, that would make it better too!

But, despite what i have said, i thought it was fantastic! Great job.

Id appreciate it if you could take a look at my mini-game and give me some feedback, link in my sig.

P.S. F4F stands for Feedback For Feedback, which is a system LBPC uses so that people can swap their opinions of other peoples levels for feedback on their own.
