I know that Mm talked a few times about this but it still didn't make it into the final game. Just like coop creation for LBP1, was talked about, but we got it a year and a half later. So what do you think, will this be implemented faster or are we gonna wait a bit more then a few months?

No i think its more of levels that are like the levels you yayed or hearted. Isn't a playlist just one leads right into the next and its a preset list? Oh that based on who you harded and yeyed since placing levels that you already played makes no sence. But i think this solution have too many bad sides, people yelling no body play there levels, with such person prefered cool pages it would kill of morep lays for not known creators. Key is levels need to be cool but also discoverable. Besides current Cool Pages are not bad, i don't see difference from the beta where at then people was worried that cool pages will be spamed with trash on full release. I think people thought you meant how long will we have to wait to get our levels on the cool list. If your level have super stats it will take 4h, if lower it will may take 14h. Key is get initial plays, after 1h you level should apper on cool list then if it's gonna be high enough it will get constant play rate, then everything depends on people rate

he's talking about that Everyone was suppose to get their own cool page based on their hearted levels and creators. this way everyone would have a different cool page from one another. also if you don't heart many people it just be like normal cool page. in the end it was suppose like a lot of levels from your fave creators mixed with normal random levels like the cool page we had now. so that way more people would get a chance to get their level played, as everyone's cool page would not be the same... unless they never heart anything (>.>) *mew

Um, I'm pretty sure our Recent Activity stream is our personal Cool Levels pages. Just go on the LBP.me dashboard and you can customize what you want to see. Right now I can see what my hearted creators and my friends are playing. I thought you guys knew this, geez.

My recent activity stream is my cool page? I feel stupid, always thought it was my recent activity stream lol, anyway I think the current system is actually pretty good, it may seem like chaos and trash at some times as previously mentioned there is a method to the madness.

Sure it's not called Cool Levels, but it works much better than Mm's garbage system. If you heart a bunch of awesome creators and find people that play a lot of community levels you might actually find a lot of stuff that you like rather than the latest shark survival level. Even if Mm gave us a system that picked specific Cool Levels for us, it wouldn't work since there's not enough data being collected.

LBP server have got your LBP1 data too you know, if you add transparency with current cool pages ( whic ic not trash as people say) it guaranty to work correcly

I know how to use my activity stream and I do so very often as I have faith in my friends choices, but its still not really a substitute for "Cool Pages" because my activity stream does not tell me whats popular and whats currently trending, only what my friends play. EDIT: btw can we please fix the title

I'm fairly certain the Recent Activity stream is what they were talking about, unless you can find an official quote to the contrary, and even if they said something like "personal cool pages" it was undoubtedly just a working title for Recent Activity, much like "Direct Control Seat", "Magic Bag", and "Power Gloves" were all working titles, until MM decided that everything had to end with "-inator" for some, no doubt drug-induced, reason. With respect to the actual "cool pages", any system based entirely on metrics is gonna suck, cos if the 90% of players who don't realise there's anything good outside of cool pages, and just play those, then they're always gonna be 'popular'. So "cool pages" is, and always will be, useless for any discerning player - just ignore it, and you'll be much happier.

Not really. For example, if the system looks and sees that you like levels with a grappling hook, it'll suggest millions of crappy grapple race levels with tons of hearts. There's no possible way a personal Cool Levels stream could be any more helpful than Recent Activity on LBP.me.
