Teleporter not functioning properly?

Teleporters are such a basic contraption to set up and utilise, but for some reason on a level I'm making, the teleporter is being very stubborn and just won't function as it should. I've basically set up a very basic grab switch linked to another checkpoint and an emitter which emits gas to kill the player. The odd thing I noticed very quickly was that despite the wire being linked to the other checkpoint, everytime I tried it out it sent me to a random, separate checkpoint. I figured that for some reason the gas was emitted too quickly for the checkpoint to be activated (Not sure how) so I introduced a 1 second timer delay - but even with the use of that, about 50% of the time after grabbing the switch, the player spawns at a separate checkpoint. I couldn't see that I'd screwed up anywhere, but obviously that's for everyone to inform me. It may be a schoolboy error, but I can't for the life of me see where I've gone wrong here - any ideas?2011-02-19 15:12:00

Have you activated the versus mode (last page in tools bag)?

Also, check the forums, there are a lot of ways to teleport the players without killing them

Versus mode was on, but your suggestion sounds a lot more helpful anyway, so thanks2011-02-19 16:21:00

As Shadowheaven mentioned, it's because of the versus mode that it's happening. If being versus isn't necessary to the level I'd turn it off.2011-02-19 17:12:00
