Toggling To Different Weapons With One Button

I have two questions. First, I am creating a sackbot similar to megaman, who can fire his main basic energy blast, but also toggle between other different types of energy blasts. I would like to press triangle to toggle between different weapon types. Can someone assist me on how to toggle from my main weapon to other weapons using the triangle button? The other question is this: I use the global gravity tweaker in the sackbot microchips to do some pretty awesome looking jumps with my sackbot. But I just thought about the fact that it's a GLOBAL gravity tweaker. So, if I have that hooked up to the jump button, am I changing the global gravity settings for the entire level every time I press jump? If so, is it enough to make a difference. What exactly do you want to be able to do to select a weapon? If I'm understanding you right, then what you want is to hook a selector into each of your weapons, and then hook the triangle button into the "toggle" input of it. Speed Racer is correct with the first one - a Selector to choose where you are selecting or moving about ...And for two, its simple - Don't use a Global Gravity Tweaker, use a Material Gravity Tweaker (I'll assume your using SackBots?) | 2011-02-19 08:36:00 Author: Nurolight Posts: 918 |

Use an AND switch for each weapon. Hook the AND switches to the weapons. Hook up whatever you use to fire a weapon into an AND switch. Then get a selector and put each output into an and switch. Hook up triangle to the cycle. | 2011-02-27 15:51:00 Author: DarrienEven Posts: 217 |

Selector has 8 outputs, each connecting to one of the 8 AND gates. Each AND gate connects to a different weapon. Triangle connects to the toggle input on the selector R1 connects to all 8 AND gates.
