When will Playstation Home come out, now I know everyone is spreading rumors, but can someone please tell me if they have any honest info. I've been so excited about it and the more people tell me its coming out soon, the more excited I become

I like how nobody answered even tried to answer the question. Nobody knows when HOME is going to be released. Sony has delayed it so many times. People are saying it should be released by the end of this year, but what? There's only 1 month left. Sony would've made an official announcement if it was going to be released this year. It'd be a true miracle if they did (People are really starting to lose interest) So if not, it should be released early 09. Heck, after all those betas, it should <_<

As of Saturday, November 15, SCEE territories have this to expect: http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/11/15/european-home-situation-update/ It's only been a week since we were told that the European Home beta expansion was pretty close and that the open beta was expected "within weeks," but now TedTheDog has updated us with some more information regarding the current situation. Don't panic -- it's all good news. Here's how the whole situation will play out. Firstly the version 1.0 patch notes will be made available for those currently in the Home beta. They will be published in the closed beta forums, but don't be surprised if they spill out of there shortly thereafter. A few days after that version 1.0 will go live. Within a day or so of that invitations will be sent out as the closed beta gets significantly expanded as a load test for the servers. The open beta will begin shortly afterwards (a matter of weeks). So there we have it. We'll let you know when any of the above actually happens, as usual. Can you taste it? It's close. We just hope version 1.0 brings some significant updates to the service like, for example, some actual content. Here's hoping. So, we're still looking at the end of the year if everything goes smoothly. Keep your fingers crossed; I know I will...

Actually, the EU invites are going out as we speak.. It's not official at all, but I have 3 people on my freinds list who have Home, and they're in the UK.

Actually, the EU invites are going out as we speak.. It's not official at all, but I have 3 people on my freinds list who have Home, and they're in the UK. I really am excited for Home. I can't say what exactly it is that grabs my attention, but it definitely does. I have this vision that once Home is available it will be something of a replacement for my XMB. It has real potential to be interactive art if you think about it. Either way, it's a day-one download even if it wasn't free. Simply can't wait.
