I am having this problem where my characters can only doggy paddle around in the water. Also they do not drown. I thought it was a change to water for Lbp2 to but I guess not. I even went back to change one of my old levels that was a pirate level with where you swan around and had to swim with material and added scuba gear... Only to find out its just me...

Maybe try deleting the water DLC and downloading it again?

Ok, you have the profile bug. If you backup your profile you will see that your profile character is a blank, regular sackboy. And if you are in a multiplayer game your character's point area will show a sackboy with a "?" in it. You also cannot nod. The only way to get rid of this is to start a new profile. The best way to start a profile (if you had a LBP1 profile you moved over) is to start a new profile, load into the game WITHOUT loading your LBP1 stuff when it asks. Once you are in your pod, THEN load your LBP1 profile. I had this, was one of the first. It sucks and I'm sorry you have it. I haven't gotten it again by loading my profile as I just described.
