Times when "the line was crossed"
Archive: 31 posts
You guys know that phrase right? When someone goes too far? Well anyways share a time when this happened to you. I'll start: There was a guy on PSN called Silent-Shot109 (or something) who was REALLY irritating. Everytime I end up playing with him, I prepare a nice pair of earplugs and whip out photos of Japanese gardens before he starts ranting up nonsence. Anyways, we were in a level I was creating with my other friend XxJet_SetxX and I went on a "brb" for awhile. When I got back, everything was trashed. Me: http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt239/emotesplz/blowitallupplz.png Silent and Jet apparently argued about S wearing the fake crown, which me and Jet both opposed and he apparently said: Nobody tells me what to war LOL major spelling fail (I know this by looking at the chat log) And then he wrecked my creation beyond repair and stuck tons of stickers with him wearing a crown on me. I don't know about you, but when someone destroys my creations intentionally... The line is now crossed!!! ![]() I blocked him and all that stuff.... I still can never forgive him for all he has done to me... so.. nubish really... Umm... your turn! | 2011-02-16 14:48:00 Author: Fang ![]() Posts: 578 |

I'm 10... ![]() A wink usually means the post shouldn't be taken seriously. I have several friends on PSN who are under 13 that you'd think were 10 years older, and vice versa. ![]() | 2011-02-16 15:35:00 Author: Rhys125 ![]() Posts: 841 |

Just gonna throw this out there - it is against the law for you to sign up here without parental consent when under the age of 13. Alex has a point, Chinook. If you're here under the age of 13 you need to have proof of parental consent. And in the spirit of the OP, I think people cross a line when adults put (supposed) age safeguards in place at sites, for the protection of minors (such as 10 year olds) and those minors then LIE in order to access that which they are not meant to access. I would not call that fun, I would call that fraudulent, irresponsible and 'asking for trouble'. Those rules are there for a reason, friends. Lying for fun... where's the integrity gone from the world for pity's sake? ![]() (P.S. chinook, I know you're not the only one who's done this... this isn't directed at you personally, although I'd advise you to make sure your parents are indeed okay with your membership here. as a mum, I'd certainly want to know) | 2011-02-17 00:01:00 Author: BabyDoll1970 ![]() Posts: 1567 |
yeah. Just gonna throw this out there - it is against the law for you to sign up here without parental consent when under the age of 13. Ok then... I might have my parents here and I might not (lol, My bro is 13 he's watchin' so what now). Why should you care? And great I'm breaking the law send me to jail, it's not like this website is "bad". EDIT: sniped Ok BabyDoll, is it ok if my brother is watching? (He's 13) | 2011-02-17 00:02:00 Author: chinook3 ![]() Posts: 453 |
And then he wrecked my creation beyond repair and stuck tons of stickers with him wearing a crown on me. Could you not just rewind until it was back to normal? I've encounterd a few annoying people online myself. My advice is to ignore them. I only accept friend request's from people I meet first. I've had some bad experiences from random add's, It's flattering at first, but when the guy doesn't give you a minute to think, it get's tough. What can you do? Delete him and prepare for a wave of hate or keep him as a friend and hope he get's the message. I guess the best thing to do would be to block them, but knowing these kid's, they will probably make a level dedicated to how much they "hate" you for blocking them. That is why I do not accept random friend requests. | 2011-02-17 00:03:00 Author: Mr_T-Shirt ![]() Posts: 1477 |
Why should you care? Because we enforce site policies. :kz: If you are under 13, brothers shoulder surfing is not the same as parental permission. You aren't breaking the law, but you are breaking a site rule and if CC wanted to be very strict about the policy you might be asked to get your parents permission or asked to leave the site - it's not funny and certainly shouldn't be joked about chinook3. Best to get mom or dad on board with your membership just in case someone here asks for their consent. Got it? I'm not saying it to be mean - I'm saying it because it's serious and you don't seem to see that. | 2011-02-17 00:31:00 Author: Morgana25 ![]() Posts: 5983 |

I've crossed that line many times in my life. Whether it be over a girl I really liked (1st grade, punched a kid square in the face), over my friends being verbally and mentally assaulted (8th grade, threw a kid across the lunch area), or someone pushing my own mentality to it's breaking points (recently, would've killed myself if it wasn't for an open mental ward, my sister, and a pair of handcuffs), my line always gets crossed, and it's never pretty. And as for friends on the PSN... good luck with that. Being away from your controller is NEVER a good idea, especially with people you KNOW would be rather... Get yur pitchforks and overreact, cuz we can't have kids on a forum for a family game. Hiz safetay is endangered, cuz im sure he is too young to know not to give away his info, or whatever might be so bad that he would need parental consent. Oh lawd. joke is joke don't take srsly. BD: I think the 'Integrity' died in the 1960's with the hippies discovering that prudism, conservatism and puritanism are wrong, and that you wont explode if you don't obey the fear propaganda of the right wing. :l Go Freedom, eh? If the person is competent enough to be able to navigate the internet, become a member on a forum, which happens to be for a family game, and function in that forum, I don't think he needs the speech on internet safety. Unless he's like Yaru and joins a million forums of which the safety of is to be seen. <_< Joking Yaru ![]() Anyway, this is not srs bsns. The line was crossed when my friend stole my girlfriend, ehh I guess I really didn't care, but for other people, it'd probably be go time. If you didn't care for your girlfriend, you didn't care he ''stole'' her, so really, how is he crossing a line to you? | 2011-02-17 23:07:00 Author: ExplosiveCheddar ![]() Posts: 978 |
Ok... Ban me I guess? ![]() EDIT: OMG I'm not joking around! I guess I'll just leave for a while I think the main point is that your parents should know you're a member here (and on any other forums you "snuck" into). It's not because you can't be trusted, but rather it's to ensure your parents understand that they'll be responsible for anything that happens here. If you're being harassed by somebody, then your parents wouldn't know who to blame other than the site because you didn't tell them you signed up here. Same thing if somebody stole any information you might have let slipped here. It's basically a way for your parents to "trust" the site, rather than say "OMG! You were on LBPC and gave away our credit card number!?!? SUE! SUE! SUE! :kz:" | 2011-02-18 03:19:00 Author: CyberSora ![]() Posts: 5551 |
