Give us ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTS! Please!
Archive: 7 posts
Basically all I do on LBP2 is create music, and sometimes I want to make serious pieces that you might hear in an orchestra. But the problem is, all the instruments on there are synth instruments that are specialized for techno. :/ I would gladly pay for a wider selection of instruments for the Music Sequencer! | 2011-02-16 14:18:00 Author: Unknown User |
Two steps from hell music would be awesome!! Yeah i agree, btw here's a song they've made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdYLIE0fHMw&feature=related | 2011-02-16 14:42:00 Author: Jonaolst Posts: 935 |
I agree, I've had a little play with the music to see what type of classical style music I can come up with but it's very limited due to fact that it's mostly techno type music, more classical orchestrated type music would be a great thing to have and possibly encourage some young classical type composers | 2011-02-16 23:29:00 Author: Elsa Posts: 164 |
Well sequencer is youngest LBP2 feature and synth is easiest samples to make since you just generate them by computer, real sound samples more expensive and harder to make. So i guess they been busy debug in game for release to work on them. Besides samples great DLC material ;] | 2011-02-17 18:44:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
So that's why, perhaps in the future then if we're lucky we may get orchestrated music samples, thanks for the info that's quite nice to know and yes I guess if that's easiest to make then it's best to use to see how well it takes off and whether people actually want to make music before making more expensive stuff for the game | 2011-02-18 00:20:00 Author: Elsa Posts: 164 |
It's expensive to make orchestral sound and samples, but yes it would be awesome | 2011-02-19 18:36:00 Author: Unknown User |
I agree, though I would prefer it if they allowed you to increase the bpm much higher or if they made the minimum note size at least half as long first. Tons of tunes with a bpm above 120 are impossible to make a good copy of in LBP2. I did transpose "Winning Road" from Fire Emblem but none of the instruments are suitable enough, not to mention some notes are off due to the aforementioned problem. | 2011-02-20 18:17:00 Author: Unknown User |
