deathless teleport vs player as a bot.

I wanted to dump the player in a bot, to enforce a character's look... which means controllinator use. Fine, fine.

But I have a couple deathless teleports, which use controllinators. At this point, it looks like my only option is to dump the player out of the bot, then trigger the teleport, and have another bot ready to be boarded on the other side. .... but in the meantime, the player character is getting vipped and vooped in and out of controlinators in a messy display that would really disrupt any immersion it the gameplay.

Can I somehow make the bot NOT get sucked into the controllinator that's supposed to control it? Hmm... maybe I can emit the bot a split second AFTER the player is sucked in... hmm...

So why am I asking for help, if I just had a good idea? Maybe someone else has a better idea?

I made some logic that makes teleporters "Sackbot friendly"

Here's a pic of it.

Basically what it does is when it teleports to the point where it ejects (the 2 tag colors shown, NOTE your sackbot will be in the air) it changes behavior to one that doesn't use the controllinator. Then after 1 second of being on the ground, it changes back to its original behavior that uses the controllinator

Cute trick. I've KINDA overcome it by emitting the control seat a bit before the bot (already set to use controlinators) but I could see how that would be a lot better in some situations. My issue now is jsut having to eject the player then recollect him after the player and the bot are teleported with 2 controlinators. I haven't had much time to try much at this point.. and I think it'll WORK... but the constant forced ejects/boardings (2 teleports very near the end of the level) would smash any attempts at anyu fluidity to storytelling...

I HOPE to be able to teleport the player WHILE mounted in a... no.. that won't work, cuz I"m not really IN the bot, meanwhile the controlling seat would try to smash its way to the teleport exit while chasing the bot.. and.. again.. not graceful

If only we could actually mount INSIDE the bot.. or just make things simple and throw a costume on the player. I might have to stick with hos it is now, howing them a picture of my intent, and leaving it up to them if they wanna dress up...and then I could also leave in the swimming and grapple sections.. here's the level if you're curious. http://lbp.me/v/xt2s1r The two teleports are near the end, shortly after the encounter with the aircraft proving assistance.
