?Telekinesis Questions?

Hey guys, I'm making a game that revolves around gravity powers, one of them being telekinesis. I already made a run of mill Telekinesis chip that is placed on the object that is to be TKed. This is fine but I recently thought of something, since the chip works off a controllinator on radius control, won't everything thats within that radius be TKed? If so, how could I go about making a Telekinesis power for my sackbot that can only pick up one object at a time? Would it be possible to use the same basic telekinesis chip set up, but somehow make so that only one can be activated at a time, and possibly a lock on system to switch between targets? I was also thinking of making a TK system that uses a hologram reticule (for targeting) that uses a "follower" mechanic. thoughts? Well you don't even need a sackbot for this. All you do is put a controlinator in the telikenisis chip and hook it up to all the controls and logic, and then set the controlinator to "nearest player" You could also try some kind of selector logic but that would get extremely complicated.
