Hey, what's up? I'm trying to do a level that's in the style of Pitfall, so I can make homage to one of the greatest (imho) classics of all time. Now, please don't pummel me for this, but, it is done with a template...the Temples template to be exact...mainly because I'm not particuarly good with making custom shapes...however, I digress...what I need help with is some ideas for more of a Pitfall feel...I can't seem to get it just right. If anyone could help me, I'd be really grateful. Thanks!

Well you'll need pits, ways to get over the pits, hazards, animals, and rewards. I'm sure you're familiar enough with the game so that I don't need to list them out specifically. Just remember to make a level that honors the game, and not a blind recreation of the levels. Mix Pitfall, LBP, and your own creative talents into the level.

Most importanty, don't call your level "Pitfall" as it's an easy target for Sony's moderating gnomes.

you need swinging vines over crocodiles and boulders to jump over. was there anything else in that game? i can't remember, it's been a long time.

There were pits, swingropes, alligators and scorpions. I think that's about it.
