Music won't work!

Archive: 10 posts

I don't know what happened. I'm pretty sure music was working before but I was doing some fixes to my level Death Proof. And in doing some play throughs I noticed that the music wasn't playing!! I tried deleting the music box and replacing in multiple places. It works in create not in play mode! I even tried on a new level. No DICE. HELP!!!

BTW Sameless Plug: Play Death Proof!

Fixed:

Start > Settings > Audio Settings > Turn Music On(Play Mode) [and] Turn Music On(Edit Mode)

You might have just turned it off accidentally.

Thanks Cartman

Hey, I'm not sure I even noticed the lack of music when playing your level before. I'll have to play it again.2008-11-19 00:52:00

its subtle. I only used a couple of the sliders to get the effect I wanted. I was tring so many things I will have to check the level I have republished to see what I did with the music box. I might have taken it out! All I know is it don't work in play mode.

I googled some other dude has the same problem on gamefaqs. But no solutions!grr

BTW all other sounds work fine...

That, or check the volume settings in the same place

I made my own out of glass. I just put the cardboard one next to a large piece of thin glass. Then I cut him out super size so I could see all the detail. Then I shrunk him down to size and put on the stickers.
