That's something I've always wanted to see on LBPC, whenever someone puts pictures of his level in his level showcase, there could be an icon that shows us that this thread has pictures. Maybe creators and players could benefit from this. If I see that a level thread has pictures in it with an interesting title I'll get curious and go check the thread. Plus, if more people see your thread, it means oyu'll get more plays eventually. What do you think? Would you like to see this happen?

Well, it wouldn't be useful for me as I usually give any level with interesting description/title/creator a play. Though, screenshots is always a plus but I don't need any info on which level threads that got screenshots.

Ya, screeenshots are nice, but not REALLY a must, this would just derrail possible attention from awesome non-screenshot level thread, and unfairly bring more to any level thread with them.

Isn't that the whole point of a level? Getting attention? If someone really wants some plays he will do his best to get some, by inciting the players with screenshots. If someone doesn't want to put screenshots, it's his choice and he chose not to put some, thus probably less plays. I still think pictures can get a level more attention, even if they're not essential.

But that's the point. To entice everyone to add pics to their level thread. Sounds like a good idea to me. Players get a better idea of the level, creators get more plays.

Let's say he should expect less plays/views. Hey! The official LBP forums has that! Did you get the idea from there? Well, a lot of forums (not necessarily LBP related) are using this type of icons. I've always wondered why LBPC never used them.

Well, after spending days/weeks working on a level, it's not that hard to take 5 minutes to take 3 pictures and link them from LBP.me to promote the level... Anyway, that's a good idea I guess...even if not really essential, as midnight_heist said, it could entice people to put pics in their level thread . Though with the LBP.me links, already showcasing pictures, some people will not bother also posting in the thread... I guess it really depends on how each one like to present their work...( I know I spend to much time on that lol )

I also like this idea. Screenshots help me guess whether or not I'd like to play a level before I play it, and if this motivates more people to use screenshots for their threads, it'll save me some time from having to actually enter the level to see if I want to play it. If a player doesn't want to take the time to take screenshots for their level at the expense of less attention, that's not very different from not taking the time to make a custom badge for their level at the expense of less attention. ~ Blob

Pictures/photos are a good indicator of quality I've found. And the more effort that's put into the level thread (pics/description/features/custom badge/F4F/etc) the more likely I am to play it. If you make the effort, I will make the effort to play your level. dajdaj03 and blob summed it up nicely. It doesn't take a lot of effort, plus it saves players' time as well.
