Safe to use a downloaded 100% save for LBP2?

| Yes, yes, I know it's cheating. But the reason I'm asking is: 1 - I have nobody to play with here, so I can't unlock everything. 2 - I get rejected everytime I try to join a game online in LBP 2. Though this hasn't ever affected me in LBP1, I could join tons of games. Is it safe to use a downloaded savegame? I read somewhere that it only affects your Trophies (as I dun give a crap about them). EDIT: I read in another post saying that I will not be able to import materials from LBP1 if I used another savegame. :s Oh yeah...
