Alright so I played your level and it started out really good.
I was having a lot of funy with the platforming until you introduced that mini boss. It was really unforgivingly hard and there were many unavoidable electric Sackbot deaths.
It was super frustrating and I had stop playing. Balance the boss out a little bit and I'm willing to give it another go.

alright I will try and balance out the difficulty some, was it hard instruction wise? like with the whole heart shooting? cuz i tried to make that as obvious as I could on that aspect

I got that you needed to shoot the hearts, but I was never able to since you spawn on the right and the Sackbots are sitting there always waiting for you.2011-02-18 18:47:00

gotcha, I made it now so that it has a temporary platform that you spawn on that disapears after 3 seconds, that way people should be able to have time to actually jump out away from the sackbots,

The difficulty is really extreme on this one. I'd go with the motto: "any level that doesn't need the infinite spawn is a well-designed level" be it easy or hard. The infinite spawn has its place. But I'm not sure if this is the level for it. I'd say break the level down a bit more. You introduced one mechanic, "the fludd" and used it for one puzzle and then moved on to a electrifing platforming segment which I failed at repeatedly due to not really getting where to go next, for instance I missed the jump-pad the first time due to me thinking I was going to get fried.

It's a little cluttered. I also liked the first part's art design better. The open-ness and bright colours really did it for me. The cramp, dark tunnel wasn't that exciting in contrast.

regardless of difficulty I usually just place the infinite checkpoint so that even the worst players don't have to start all the way over, but yes I agree that it was pretty hard, I tuned down the boss's difficulty by a lot recently(i don't know if you just played it or not) and yes I agreed that I liked the first part's design lol, that was what made me switch back to it rather quickly, I just needed a transiton through a building because of how my city was made with the story, thanks for the criticism, good or bad I like it cuz it helps me improve

Your level is very good. I particularly liked the water city theme at the beginning, which kinda reminded me of Ratchet and Clank's style of gameplay. Some parts I think are just too difficult though. The bit where you have a paintinator and have to shoot the turrets and the walker thing seems to have plasma flying everywhere, and you don't really know where to go. The boss is a good concept, but I think it could do with a bit more explanation. When the bounce pads light up I didn't think to jump on them as quickly as I had to, and then I died. Overall though, it was great!
