OK, so heres the run-down. You see, I have this cool parkour level and this level included the sackbot that wears the Bug Blaster costume that was glitched from the levels that give them out. The sackbot was supposed to be spraying a wall with the spray-can. Now that V1.01 came out, I can't edit the level because it's asking me to purchase it from the LBP Store. But of course, the Bug Blaster costume is only for beta tester, so therefor I cannot edit my level. Any ideas how to remove the sackbot without completely removing the level? Thanks- Kleppy EDIT: According to first post... I am now looking for an experienced Sack who has a Bug Blaster costume!!!

You probably have to find someone who has a bug blaster, is willing to help you and you trust to give your level to, to edit him out.

I would think you could just delete the 1.01 patch, stay offline, go into your level, edit out the costume, save, re-download and you're good to go. That's assuming the patch doesn't do anything to change your profile. I find that unlikely with a 1.01 patch, but it's possible.

i think by deleting game data NOT SAVED GAME DATA. see if the level is publishable or copyable first

how would I delete the patch specifically? In Game Data, it's the file called "LittleBigPlanet™2". If you press triangle and choose "Information" it should be 1281MB, and version 1.01. Make a profile backup first, just in case.

Well, this IS the 1st patch on LBP2, so no one really knew if that'd work to begin with, m8. The only other method I can think of is what they said to make the level locked-copyable and give the key to someone who has it that you trust.

If so, you might be able to: backup your profile backup your level remove the patch remove your profile import your level make the changes backup the level restore your profile install the patch import your level whew! A lot of work for something that might not work. EDIT: I'm probably missing a few steps in there, not sure if you would have access to the bug blaster costume... hmmm. There might not be a way to get it back unless you backed up your profile before the patch.

Thankfully, I did back up my profile before the patch. I fear that I will lose my hard work if it doesnt work. I was looking for a "King" and "queen" look for some sackbots for a level I wanted to make. The Title said "Rare Crown". I thought. Perfect. No Idea it was a crown awarded to only special people.

Did you disconnct your ps3 from your broadband before you reloaded the game? It shouldn't ask you to update while you're offline. I didn't disconnect my internet. I am not sure it will make a difference since the profile itself requires the patch to be installed or else your profile gets deleted.
