Creatinator interacting with creature brains ?
Archive: 4 posts
Hows it going everyone? I created a boss for my level, and I have 3 creature brains on each side. Once their all destroyed the boss fight will end. I created and tweaked a creatinator to shoot fire. I enabled each unprotected brain to be vulnerable to lethal materials but whenever the fire hits the brain nothing happens. I also made a simple sponge, made it lethal, and had the creatinator shoot that, but still nothing. How can I make the creatinator emit lethal objects that will destroy creature brains? Thanks in advance and happy creating!<3 | 2011-02-14 16:48:00 Author: Unknown User |
One of the sensors either impact or projectile wired to the brains should do the trick. | 2011-02-14 18:00:00 Author: Unknown User |
Hey. When you make a creature brain vulnerable, it actually makes it so that any creature legs or wheels are vulnerable. This is a holdover from LBP1. I'm not sure, but you could try putting a projectile sensor on the brain, set the "Include Rigid Connections" tweak to "No", and then hook the output on the sensor to the brain. Failing that, why don't you make a particular piece of material as your creature's "weak" point, and make that vulnerable to fire. You can put a few of them in different locations, use an "AND" gate somewhere on a microchip, and set it up so you have to take out all the various weak points before the whole creature bites it. | 2011-02-14 18:02:00 Author: Bercilak Posts: 117 |
I'll give both ideas a whirl and post back, thanks guys! | 2011-02-14 19:20:00 Author: Unknown User |
