Story:
You arrive on your first day of work at Sack Labs and encounter Dr. Squirmy and his latest project the Sackeratinator 3000. After entering the machine you are transferred into a lab rat. The doctor promises to return you to your normal self if you can make it to the end of his rat tests. A gauntlet of puzzles, mini games, and rat torture. Can you make it to the end?

Community:
This level is built in sections by the community like a quilt. See http://LBPQuilt.com for more information. If you press L1 in a cage section it will display the creator?s name.

Current Build:
There are currently 27 different cage sections with more coming very soon. The current build is single player but we will be introducing multiplayer co-op and multiplayer versus race modes in the future.

Wow went to lunch and had 57 plays. Came back and almost 2000 plays already. Looks like MM picked it.2011-02-14 19:36:00

Looks awesome! Though I'd suggest adding a section explaining how to show cage credit when the scientist is telling you how to maneuver around, since my little brother was playing it and he didn't notice the little button controls pop up on the bottom of the screen and asked how people would know who made the cages.2011-02-15 17:03:00

Yup, played this last night - congrats on the MM pick!

Wow.... this is SUCH as great idea, I can't even tell you. Whole new genre almost - clean design, great puzzles, beautiful graphics, and a fall-down funny ending. Loved it!

Played this last night, it's great! The LBP.me thing at the top of the thread is broken though :/

Also, as a minor improvment, I found the cheese in the race bit (where it's on top of a podium) annoyingly difficult to get, I just kept jumping, falling, jumping, falling. Other than that, it was brilliant and one of my new favourites. I loved how it was made non-linear (so you have free-reign on what rooms to go in).

Yeah I did not put the ribbon on there. I think the forum tried to put it on the level link automatically but it failed.

played it the other night, good method for doing a collaboration effort. i was thinking once how cool it would be to see an "exquisite corpse" idea in littlebig planet...and this is pretty close. i'd like to see a series of different collab efforts like this ? definitely to take part in some of them! does each creator not get to see the others contributions until the final product?

i'd love to see something where each creator only had a snippet of the previous creator's section...and then interprets/expands from that snippet. a little more like an "exquisite corpse" idea.

Google it if you have no idea what i'm talking about. it's usually done in drawing/printmaking.

For this project each section is it's own concept. So yes the other creators never know where their section will be placed. I provide the level kit, they create, I get their creation, and insert it into the level. The section was designed to support 4 entrances and 4 exits.

Also, there was a "Beta" version of the level for section creators. It was a locked level to which all creators were given a level key, and blastroid constantly added new cells as they came along.

You can still contribute, I think. More than half of the sections were made by blastroid, and he said he'd remove some of them to make room for more community-created sections once they're created.
