I`m making a vs level it`s coming along nicely. I have setup a title screen/ menu which also serves as a waiting area for players to join. My problem is that the game timer runs the whole time you`re at the menu. I know that if I set a movie camera with controls disabled it stops the timer, but I need controls for the menu... I guess I could make the lvl timer unlimited and have my own timer, but just wanted to ask, maybe there`s another way because the game timer just looks better

I know that if I set a movie camera with controls disabled it stops the timer, but I need controls for the menu... I had the same problem - I don't think there's a solution without using sublevels, or implementing your own timer system.

I dont think it starts until movie cams are done, might do movie cams until you want the vs to start

I'm lost. What do you mean by vs timer? In the Global Settings menu you can set a "Time Limit" or "Score Limit" for a level, although doesn't apply specifically to versus levels.
