Major Logic Request!

Hi, I am working on a prototype for a new type of weapon/tool for Little Big Planet2. I need someone who is fairly advanced in logic to assist me with this. Currently I have one logic person helping, Zeel_01, but even he is stumped with some things I need to do with the object. I will describe what I am looking for below:

1. (What I want) It's name is a Reflective Shield. Its basic properties are to absorb projectile energy, convert it into one of five types of energy (based on player input) and shoot it back out. When it absorbs a light beam its appearance glows and sound starts to indicate how many charges the shield currently has stored. Maximum amount of charges is 5. Each weapon/ability for the shield takes up a specific amount of charges. It can only be controlled by the first player that grabs it. The abilities/weapons are chronologically unlocked as player progresses and finds where they are hidden.

2. (What I have): I have it taking projectiles and absorbing them into maximum of five charges. I have sounds and lighting to work as well. I have it being controlled by a sackbot successfully, with one type of ammo developed. I have projectile that triggers the charge, but not a light beam. I have the one weapon taking up a total of one charge.

3. What I need: I need 4 other types of ammo that players can choose from. I need four of the five ammo locked until found by the player as they progress through the game. I need light beams to charge the shield and nothing else. I need the shield to be controlled by only the first player who grabs it. I need to be able to allow the player to cycle through the ammo at will. I need the shield to deduct charge count specifically for each ammo, mainly:

A. Ammo I: Takes one charge, example: fire
B. Ammo II: Takes one charge, example: water
C. Ammo III: Takes two charges, example: plasma
D. Ammo IV: Takes three charges, example: electricity
E. Ammo V: Takes five charges: example: rocket

Weapons should not be able to fire unless they have enough charges to do so.

4. What I don't want: I do not want this to rely on sackbot or vehicle use. This must be controlled directly by player. I do not want to have to "hop in" to a controllinator to use shield properly. I do not want this controlled by anyone other than the first person who grabs it.

5. What YOU will help me accomplish: To make one of the first multifunctional tools/weapons/defense systems wthout requiring entry inside an object via controlinator.

Well controllinator on "Nearest Player" (color option when you turn remote in to reciver, in which controllinator outputs controls without player being mounted) + some memory gadget like selector to pick a weapon that can change (as a seperate holo) using emit on detraction technique will do the trick. But keep in mind that "Nearest Player" mode don't work very well on multiplayer2011-02-14 03:13:00

Any chance you could add me, and apply your ideas to the project to see if it works on my moon?

Well ^^' 1. i got full list 2. i can't turn PS3 right now (my brother came sleep here today). But we could try LittleBigInvite tomorrow on planed hour, if you not find anybody else to do it earlier. I don't know what Little Big Invite is, but if you would like to help me out sometime after 3pmEST that would be great! I don't think it is as simple as you are claiming it to be though. I guess you'd have to see the progress so far in order to understand the dilemmas Zeel-01 and I face.

@Any other Logic Gurus! Anyone else up for the possible challenge? Looking forward to working with you :-D
