A working submarine

I am in the middle of making a treasure diving level where you use a submarine to dive down and then drag treasure inside the Sub...Does anyone have any helpful tips I could use?2011-02-13 22:29:00

Here's what I'm thinking. Make it anti-gravity with the good old advanced mover. Use two gyroscopes to make it tilt left or right when it moves in those directions just slightly to make it look cool.

Put doors on the bottom of the sub then inside the sub put a magnet shaped object with a winch. Have holding a button open the doors and drop the winch and keep it there till you unpress the button. Put a tag on the magnet. Put followers on the pieces of treasure set to follow that tag so it looks like they're attracted to the magnet. Then put a sensor also on the treasure, with a very small radius. Put the tag for this sensor in the sub. Have this sensor be attached to a destroyer and global score increaser. That should be all the logic you need for the basic idea there.

To make sure the sub doesn't completely leave the water, put a water sensor near the top hooked up to a NOT gate that is wired to the movement microchip. That way, you just can't make the sub fly around in the air all over the place.
I've been playing around with some submarine stuff as well and it can be a little trickier to get stuff to move underwater fluidly (no pun intended).
