Project: STEAM RONIN http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=30431&d=1297343220 photo courtesy of Blanchrocker, a cool bro who's helping me with this project so far [INTRO] hello all and welcome to the thread. Right now I am in the works for a game project that I hope you will be interested in being a part of. An interesting story with interesting characters, bosses, and concept. With a story mode formula that will be similar to LBP2. [STORY] The story revolves around a ronin warrior named Nichiyoubi (sunday in japanese) trying to stop a fierce yakuza mob boss from spreading his new technology named *guns* onto the western hemisphere and all over his land of *NEW JAPAN* to prevent a new age of senseless bloodshed and the end of the samurai way. He will need more then his courage as he cannot do this alone. Will Nichiyoubi be able to end the *guns* technology shipment before it's too late? or will this technology make it to the west and cause a senseless war, ending the samurai way forever and causing a new age of honorless slaughter from weakings using guns instead of honor and melee. **ALL NAMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE [TEAM] we are in current need of: Boss Creators Logicians Musicians (for original soundtrack) Sackbot Caretakers (those who can program Sackbots well) Filmmakers (people who can work the cutscene cameras and can make good cutscenes) Lighting Specialists (Lights can make/break a game) 3D glitch masters (3D makes everything sexy ) and that's it for now...when i think of more positions I'll add them as for HOW TO APPLY? well hopefully Night Angel doesn't mind I use his formula but here it goes: PSN ID: Do you own a microphone?: Yes/No What individual talents do you have in LittleBigPlanet creating?: List and Provide Specific Examples if Possible What are some of your most noteworthy levels?: What other talents do you think will assist the team?: [FINAL THOUGHTS] hopefully we can have people joining to make this awesome game come to life since LBP hasn't had enough samurai stuff in it at all. but yeah to end this here is a picture of the valiant hero...and look foward to seeing people trying to help make this game a reality: http://ia.lbp.me/img/ft/5ea99eb52dd6319665d1494e75155e26feac8833.jpg

Sounds interesting. Great setting. Reminds me of a sort of new-age Legends of the 5 Rings. Can you describe the sort of gameplay it will feature?

Can you describe the sort of gameplay it will feature? regular LBP platforming for now...we might add different gameplay to it but we'll cross that bridge when we get there...so if people want sections of different gameplay then hopefully the logicians who join can do this for us

Things I recommend to do w/ microchips, and could even do are: Wall Jumping Dive attack Slash (I don't like useless swords)

Sadly I can't really get involved with any more projects, but just wanted to post say this a really cool premise and I look forward to seeing how it shapes up. Neat drawing too.
