I was looking throughout the forum a couple minutes ago, and noticed an older news thread... it was the one about xp returning, and whatnot. but, i couldn' help but notice, that we STILL haven't gotten any new market items, even though CC said he would add some...i understand he only wanted to add something everybody would particularly like, but the lot of us had some pretty good ideas... i mean, why couldn't there be an option to design your own Theme (that could be bought) that wouldn't affect anyone that didn't want it affected... not that the template isn't awesome already! and what about the option to design a template for your threads... and that could be switched off if someone viewing the thread didn't want it. And what about an item you could buy, that allowed you to make your own section of the forum? it could be expensive, and it would be under "User Forums" in a 5th section in general stuff... i know any of these ideas could be made... and i really think that the xp system is under-used... it really would be cool if we could do stuff like this. so... any other ideas? like maybe customizable smileys (500-1000xp?) or something else? share the ideas here! poll added, please add any ideas you have, so they can be considered by the staff!

Nice ideas! i think all of this stuff would be awesome, Badge's that come on events and other times would be cool too, Example: LBP2 Release Badge(was online the week of LBP2 Release, you would also buy this badge), Spotlighted level badge, Creator Spotlight Badge. Most of them are not for market but thats what i think would be a cool anyway

I have been one of the fiercest advocates of new things being added to the shop over the years... And Is till haven't thought of a decent idea :/ Being able to buy forums would get a bit messy... there would have to be an evaluation process, and even then... ya. Trophies as they are now are useless (hey, we have trophies? XD)... so I would think they should be either destroyed, or heavily updated. Making them into "Pins" would be a nice idea, especially if we make special pins... for... certain things. Might not go too nicely with the anti elitism crowd but I think it'd be a nice tough, a stupid little gizmo like showcasing our hearts. I have always liked the idea of a mass collection system... like people collect pins or cards or whatever. Then, we could use them in some sort of metagame... or soemthing. I once tried to bring it off the ground but I had no idea how to XD Ah well. But a lot of possibilities are either too annoying, or would better be suited to giving it to "worthy" people or ideas then to the highest bidder... does destroy the system, but ya :/

Ah, RAWK... i remembered you were advocating an LBPC card game, but CC didn't want anything like that stuff coming to the market... I would like it, especially if you bought a pack, and then sent to a link that randomly gave you a couple... but that would be a bit hard to add... but what do you think about the "make your own site design" idea... it would be cool... and viable. ...and on a side note, i thought the forums should be expensive, like 20'000 xp or something... if you have been around that long, than that eliminates *most* of the noobish members...

I do like the pin idea since the trophies are worthless. With the pins it would be nice if you could put 3 under your name just like in LBP2.
