Queued and played within next 15 minutes, review coming soon. Please the 2 part level in my signature and give me feedback, thanks in advance. Also, can you link to part 1?

Edit

PROS: Extensive voice over work, nice atmosphere touches.

CONS: Having to die for scene transitions is confusing, constant cutscenes/text bubbles are jilting.

(For the Whole Series)
SUGGESTIONS: I would find another way to transfer from scene to scene or at least make the killing of the player an automatic thing, try and bear in mind that the people playing your level are often seeing it for the first time and won't know when they are supposed to die in order to advance the progress. Also, I would consider using the sequencer to lay out your cutscenes as opposed to relying exclusively on the player sensors. In the third part of the series there are also several cut away shots without any dialogue.

This is a decent start to a seriesl, unique in that it is filled with spoken dialogue which, while making the levels take a while to load, also makes it stand out in my mind. I would keep on editing the levels and try and get some of the kinks worked out but I think it has potential on the whole.

Way to much going on an to confusing. I was able to walk off the level into the gas do to the fact I was lost so much. You might want to create your borders of your levels wider so it hides all your dark matter holding up your level. It will also block the player from moving on so you do not have to use that nasty gas. To much clutter. I do not think the extra layers help this level any. You might want to try to use some game cameras to centralize the scenes. It might also help the have the path a little more clear where to go like the elevator pod that slides across.2011-02-13 14:21:00
