I have the text stickers that you can get from various levels, but they are not exactly what I need. I need a simple clean font for my main menu on the level. Before I go making my own, and doing poorly, does anyone have some? Maybe you know a good level to grab them? I've got a few levels in my queue now to try, but they seem to be few and far between when it comes to quality letters. Thanks

I had a terrible time finding 'quality text' from levels as well. Most people just don't really feel obligated to sit around making fonts. I would say most creators just make their own font for their levels, but I doubt a template or anything fancy is made. This sounds like an excellent opportunity to make your own and publish it to help others. Even if you believe your font is sub-par. If you really can't make font, you could probably take a look at previously existing fonts and make your own, with some inspiration from others: http://www.dafont.com/

I remember this LBP1 lvl called Interstellar infitration, which had this really good font as a prize. You should try and find it.

That's what it's starting to look like. I may do that. If anyone wants to pitch in, let me know. You would think a simple font like helvetica or some other sans serif fonts would be available. I did see two good ones, but they were more playful than what I need.

thanks, cheesemuffin. I'll check it out. BTW, your tower defense level looks a lot like the one I am working on. Even used the same cursor design, and starter tower.

Lite_Sleeper was a very prolific font creator back in the LBP1 days, you should try searching for his levels by doing a text search for him as a creator (type '@Lite_Sleeper' in the search text field). Unfortunately the fonts that you can get from his level are bugged in LBP2, because you can't split the letters like you could in LBP1. If you're desperate for those fonts, however, you can open up those levels in LBP1 and split the letters and symbols manually, save them as individual objects and import the changes into your LBP2 profile.

Comphermc has a really great variety of fonts he gives away in a level, visit his planet, its on one of his LBP1 levels, really reccomend it.

Silverleon, thanks a ton. I was looking for that level earlier. Someone mentioned it to me earlier, but I couldn't remember the name it was under. Those really are some very nice fonts. I'm almost halfway through a helvetica clone now if anyone is interested. I've just finished the uppercase set, and need to polish it. Something tells me that the uppercase is going to prove to have been easier than lowercase though Just for future reference, if you guys decide to make a font, it's actually not very hard. I found a fairly easy way to do it. Just download the font, get an image, or draw your own. Then load it into photoshop or the gimp with the grid on. Size it so that it matches closely on the grid corners. Then turn your grid on in LBP, and use the corner editor to copy the letters.
