I think adding a bit of shine to the eyes can make him look cuter, those hollow black eyes are a bit unsettling lol. The head shape is a little too square and angular, try rounding out those corners and it'll look perfect. Great job.

Even the smily looks like a creeper! I do love the image, althoughy creepy, it's nicely done... Looks like you used bevel and emboss on the eyes, drop shadow from the eyes and mouth, and the brown knit texture from the LBP fansite kit, good work! (Ya I know a little too much about photoshop...)

Definitely better. The eyes still bring nightmares to little children, though I'm honestly not sure what you can do to fix that. Definitely add a tongue at least, that'd be funny, lol.
