I am in desperate need of a controllable caterpillar for a level I'm creating! A prime example: the controllinator caterpillar in Eve's "Up and At 'Em" story level. I know I could make one myself, but I don't think I'm crafty enough. I'm wondering if Mm offers the caterpillar as a prize/goodie? (Like you can get the Roborat, Hamstertron, and Bee creatures.) If not... I need help making one! ;( I'm trying to have an Absolem-like creature that the player can control. Sadly, I don't think painting a Sackbot blue would cut it. I don't think it's a prize..... I have 100% Story Prizes and I've aced every level that's ace-able, and I haven't got the caterpillar, or at least I don't THINK so. Maybe try taking a picture of the caterpillar in the level and making something which looks a bit like it?

It was origininally based on a something built by a beta tester, a survival challenge that never ended, the catapillar didnt move, the boards did, they emmited themselves on a sequencer I dont know to much about who actually created it. Good luck finding it though, hope this helps a bit.

It was origininally based on a something built by a beta tester no, by the time the beta was out footage of this level had already been released in order to demonstrate the power of the sequencer. as for finding the caterpillar, im pretty sure its not a prize, and its pretty simple to make anyway just play around with using different materials stickers and objects for the body bits

Maybe I could help make a caterpillar for you, I know how Mm made that caterpillar. Edit: I find the title funny because "where art thou" actually means why are you. So what you title says is Oh Caterpillar why are you? Also i'm a collossus! AKA, I'M A MOUNTAIN! :colossus:

Haha. Funny thread. Anyways, it really shouldn't be too difficult to make a Caterpillar...Just use a grabbable material in circular squares for the body and the fur decoration for the hair. 2 or 3 eyeballs and some antlers and you're done. As for the controls, very easy. Just watch the tutorials and mess around a bit. Which you'll need to do anyways in order to learn the tools.

Well, my question definitely got answered. Thanks everyone. I'll see if I can make it myself.. if not, I -will- be back to recruit someone. The controllinator isn't so much the problem as I've already mastered how to have a player-controlled Sackbot. It's just the prettiness factor. D;
