A couple of months back, I lost the ability to collect community objects, they are treated like point bubbles, (But 50 points) and I don't collect the object I thought that this might be to do with my existing objects, so I deleted them all. That was a mistake as my 3D tool was in there, and I use that a lot. I desperately need a 3D tool for my new game, but I can't get one without my Community objects!

If you press start, you can go to settings, in this you will find an option to select: collect community prizes. I think you have this option unchecked.

Have you disabled the Option to collect them in the Game-Options Settings (unter the profile-tab)?

I had exactly the same problem in LBP1, but it got fixed when I started LBP2. I think this is what causes it: 1) Certain levels (I played one with music notes as prizes and it started when I entered it) 2) Importing a profile. I had LBP for ages before it started, then I imported and the 50 points started. To fix 1), maybe play the same level again. I don't know any more, I don't know what ACTUALLY causes it, but 1 and 2 are my assumptions.
