this happened yesterday. while i was playing lbp2 online, my ps3 froze and i had to turn it off manually. it was late and i decided that it was bed time. later, after school, i decided to play more sony vs. marval vs. capcom, when the ps3 says something went wrong and would i like to contact sony support. i say no (even though i probibly should of said yes, derp) and start playing lbp2. loading, loading, loading, then it takes me to the introductory level! as if it was the first time! what is really weird is that i kept my saved costumes and i got all my pins back, yet it says ive never been on the lbp2 online before. someone help! edit: a minute after i post this, my internet goes down, maybe it just happened, or it may be something else... naw, just being paranoid or is it...

It mostly happens to people who have either a forged Crown or Bug Blaster Suit, or the special shirt, or hat, using the sackbot-copy-costume glitch. Mm noticed it and knew that they couldn't prevent it, (They're retarded), so instead, they're resetting all accounts who have it. That, and some profiles just randomly glitch and reset. It's happened to me after I was 100% done with EVERYTHING on LBP2. Lost it all, same happened to about 5 of my friends. It sucks, but there's no fixing it, just import your LBP1 stuff into LBP2 and start over. How to prevent it? When it glitches and asks you to import your profile, shut your PS3 off and leave it alone for a while. It Should fix itself eventually.

Once on LBP2 my friends PS3 froze while I was playing and right when I was being sent back to my Pod he logged back in and I got stuck at the dreaded white loading screen for 20 minutes + I decided I had no choice but to quit the game, but before doing so I saw that my PS3 HDD drive light was flashing a ton, so I signed out of PSN and the HDD light stopped then I quit the game. When I started LBP2 again it took awhile to load but after it was done loading "everything" was there... until I entered create I discovered some of my imported LBP1 objects had a "corrupted" symbol; they all work though... that slowly fixed itself overtime. But every since 30 minutes after the opening of bestbuy and me start playing the game I just decided to be lazy and click unlock all tutorial now I don't have the plasma danger option :
