I'm having a strange issue. Everything seems normal in my pod, but I can't use the pod controller. I can see the entire pod ( so, it doesn't appear to be the same issue where the planet is inside the pod ). If I stand directly in front of the controller and press the 'square' , nothing happens. If I move away and press the 'square' , the poppit pops up as normal. I have tried all three of my controllers individually, and together - no go. I have backed up and deleted ALL of my LBP1 and LBP2 game data and saved games, but when I reinstall the game without reinstalling the backed-up data, the same issue pops up. I have tried online and offline gameplay - no change. Has anyone else had this problem ?? I'm out of ideas to try !! Thanks

Well I haven't personally experienced this, but one of my friends had this happen because the tried to place materials in their pod.

Have you been using the pod glitch? That's the only explanation I can think of...

try join a friend and then go back to your pod again, that should force you to the pod computer and maybe Kick everything back again?

I haven't been using the pod glitch ( don't even know what that is ). I have deleted all the LBP and LBP2 savegames and data off of the PS3, and then re-installed just the game. Is there anything else that would need to be deleted, because the error just keeps coming back... I have noticed though, when the glitch is happening, the game is acting as if it isn't connected to the PSN. It doesn't give the online options when I press the start button to bring up the game options.. I have tried disconnecting the ethernet connection, rebooting and attempting to play offline - same issue comes back.

That really sucks, hmmm. Ok last option is to hope the new LBP2 patch will come out soon, if that doesn't work you may have to return the game and get a new one. I'm hoping the patch will fix it for you though ^^

I hat the Glitch too, i started the game without being online and tada, it was an online-only-glitch.
