I have a tricky level, and an old man who is pretty funny taunting you the whole way through. But I also have a sissy sign that you can sticker and de-lethalize the traps. What I want to do is if you never sticker a sissy sign you get the original quote, but if at any time in the level you hit a sign for the rest of the times you see him (5 times total) he just calls you a sissy. I have tried hooking the sissy phrase to the sissy sign, and then the original sign to a not gate and the not gate hooked up to the sissy sign. I have tried this in the open and on a microchip and I get the same result, he says the original phrase when you start the level which is way out of the range of the mouth, and if I trigger the sign it triggers the sissy phrase, again completely out of range of the mouth.

Place every magic mouth on its own microchip. Wire the sticker switch's output to all the microchips that contain 'sissy' magic mouths. Then, put in a NOT gate, wire the sticker switch to it, and wire the NOT gate's output to all the microchips containing 'normal' magic mouths. I'm not 100% sure if this would work since I haven't tried it myself, but I'm pretty sure it does.
