All of the below is music-creator-related: I don't know if MM reads these boards at all, but please, I would pay for more instruments, like you would find in an orchestra. Sometimes I want to create a serious music piece but its hard to do because everything is synthesized. And the ability to change the time signature! I can name 1 or 2 songs that I wish I could cover that are in 3/4 time, but can't because there are 4 beats in each measure :/

I think the reason the sounds are very digital-sounding is to keep the file size small and easy to load when in a level, meaning I doubt we'll ever see any "serious" instruments. More instruments would definitely be welcome though.

I think the reason the sounds are very digital-sounding is to keep the file size small and easy to load when in a level, meaning I doubt we'll ever see any "serious" instruments. The actual sound samples used are part of the Game Data, and wouldn't be included in the level downloads. Recorded samples for Sackbots or Magic Mouths, on the other hand, are part of the level data, which is why they're compressed so much. It's more likely they were holding back the quality samples for a future DLC pack so they can make more money.

I'm sure you can already change the time signature. But yeah, if it is there already, I'd like it to be easier to reach.. Really annoying when I was making Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.
