Could anyone help out my son?

Archive: 13 posts

Hello all , I have a simple request. My son who is 9 has made a level called Chessie Steam Special. The level doesn't have much to it, but I think he did a pretty good job on his steam locomotive. If you finish out the level, you can get a better look at the locomotive. If any of you are board and wouldn't mind stopping by to give it a play, I would greatly appreciate it. If you finish out the level, you can get a better look at the locomotive. I know he will for sure. He's had it posted for a couple of days and its only gotten 5 plays. Probably 4 of them are his lol. Please be nice in the comment section. Also, don't think this is some kind of trick to get plays. He uses my psn id, cnyle1. I tried to do one level, and I could not get the results I wanted, so trust me, I'm not a level builder. Thanks again to any fellow sacks willing to lend a hand. Charles

Left a nice comment for him.

Thanks alot for that. He was very excited this morning. He was up at 5am, 2 hours before school just to check on his level. When I came in he was showing me the comment. Thats very cool, what might not seem like much of a big deal to us, sure means alot to my little guy. Thanks again all.

Heres a link to that level http://lbp.me/v/xjmkb7 I queued it up to play. I think that is great that your son is making levels. My mom made sure I had a sketch book at all times in my room and it fueled me to work on art and music in my adult years. It's a great thing to have parents who support their children's constructive outlets. I'll be sure to play and comment 2011-02-12 01:16:00

When I was growing up, I lived for creating things with blocks, legos, k'nex, you name it. I got such satisfaction out of creating things from nothing. Count me in.2011-02-12 04:24:00

You all are great. I just wanted to thank everyone for helping out here. I think he has a little bit of swagger going on. I asked today when I got home if he had any more plays, he said "oh yeah" then showed me how many. I said it before, it might not seem like much to us, but man to him this is something else. And to Siljin, he does a pretty good job at drawing trains too. I would like to see this passion take him somewhere, who knows. Thanks a ton guys.2011-02-12 19:15:00
