Broken Television

Archive: 19 posts

My TV just blew out. We don't have the money for a new one until Tuesday, so I've gotta wait until next week sometime before I get a new one. I don't really watch TV(except late-night television), so it's not really a problem. I just can't do anything gaming-related for a little while.

Oh well, I'll just spend more time here.

That's unlucky man. The way to think of it is "At least it happened now, now the day before LBP"2008-08-10 01:06:00

Haha, good point. That way I'll get a brand-spanking new TV. I wish HDTVs weren't so expensive, because I'd love one. Even a 720p. I have(well, had) a 480p, but I'd prefer some more pixels. We're not really well-off enough to afford HDTV's, though.

That does suck, but once you do get the money for an HDTV you will love it, and just look at the up side every month HDTVs come down in price and soon they will be worth the money.2008-08-10 04:14:00

Yeah, the great thing about getting TVs is that you don't need these monster sized ones... Just move closer. LOL!

Back on boxing day, I got a Samsung 32" 720p TV for $600. I know you can get 1080p 52 inch displays, but when I sit closer, it's good enough for me. LOL

To go with that, one of the main reasons I was gonna move closer was because I thought it was gonna be hard to see the popit, but now the new organised one looks amazing, and it's a fair bit bigger I think, so I shouldnt have trouble..

Still gonna move though

Mhmm, I usualy play on a tv/pc monitor cross over.. so I sit pretty close to that, and it also really improves my gaming (especialy in shooters) Though the resolution is a fair bit blurrier and some of the screen is cut off.

I'm guessing that you have your ps3's in your rooms? My mam won't let me have it up there cause she thinks i'll be on it all night. I have a 32" normal tv so it kind of sucks. Hoping to convince my parents that its worth getting a hd one. Even if its small.2008-08-11 21:28:00
