Making indestructible materials destructable?
Archive: 5 posts
So I am building what is basically a destroy everything in sight type level. But I don't want to be confined to using only cardboard/sponge/etc. I want to be able to drop bombs on any material and be able to pick it apart slowly. I tried to use a material tweaker to make metal destructible... but it is still indestructible. I do not want to use a destroyer since that will blow the entire thing up in one shot, and I don't think building my buildings in pieces to destroy bit by bit would be too good on the thermometer (at least if it were to be built to make the breaks look like breaks, rather than being cut cleanly... I'm not too much of a level maker but I am pretty sure I heard somewhere that a lot of corners are hard on the thermometer.) Is there any other possible solutions to this problem? Or am I just going to be stuck using the destructible materials? | 2011-02-10 09:27:00 Author: Unknown User |
Is there any other possible solutions to this problem? Or am I just going to be stuck using the destructible materials? You can pick up cow-glitched destructable variants of all LBP1 materials from my Garden of Goodies level (link in sig), but I can't think of a way to do it for LBP2 materials. | 2011-02-10 11:12:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |
What about Material modifier? There is a special line where you can choose whether the object is destructible or not. | 2011-02-10 11:50:00 Author: dharlequn Posts: 7 |
What about Material modifier? There is a special line where you can choose whether the object is destructible or not. OP claims that doesn't work, but if they're mistaken, that would clearly be the easiest option. | 2011-02-10 12:19:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |
