LBP2 DLC You Would Like to See In The Future!

Archive: 143 posts

In this thread you can post ideas and other things about future DLC (Level Packs, costume packs, costumes, etc.) you would like to see in LBP2 and/or LBP. I will start by saying Star Wars (I won't go into much detail knowing that a lot of other people want this to), and I would also like to see a Halo costume in the future; something like this:
http://www.littlebigplanetoid.com/images/assets/shared/09predictions/dlc_halo.jpg
(Please sticky this thread if we come up with some good ideas)

lol, that Master Chief costume is pretty epic, I like how they say at the bottom: Fanboy warning: this is not real. heh. I think that I would like to see different DLCs for different eras in time, we could have dinosaur costumes, renaissance, medieval, that kinda stuff, anyone agree?2011-02-10 03:39:00

Well while their performance was...awful, did anyone see the outfits the Black Eyed Peas had on for the Super Bowl halftime show. I would love to have those costumes on Little Big Planet.

Here's a picture of them and the video so you can see all the lights on them. Might want to mute the volume though. Singing fail.

I'm still hoping for a Sonic Pack 2, with some more characters outfits and some 3D objects (Like a 3D emerald, or a Z-axis rotating ring.), maybe stickers from Sonic 2/3. This could be a good promotion for Sonic's 20th anniversary.

I was hoping for some Guitar Hero costume pack, but since the franchise has potentially died yesterday, I won't be hoping too much. Plus, there's this mysterious guitar seen on the music video, so I'll just claim I want this guitar, now.

I just have too many ideas for DLC, listing them all would be really boring for who dares to read...

Do you mean like the other threads that are exactly the same topic and idea?

^ Maybe the moderators could merge all DLC idea threads into a single thread and request that in future people put all their DLC ideas in that?

Why can't people stop posting new threads like this and just make a suggestion in the already existing threads? And there isn't, read this one well, there isn't going to be Halo, Alan Wake or any Xbox exclusive DLCs EVER!2011-02-10 19:21:00

Personally, I'd like to see a new creator pack which includes the ability to change the direction of gravity (ala Super Mario Galaxy) both on the global scale and the individual scale (possibly through a gravity tweaker object that you could stick on the object of your choice). Oh, and a floating water object would be nice as well. (It would likely need to be pass-through like gas or holograms though.)

P.S.: A stickied thread would be great for topics where people would likely talk about frequently, such as what should be added in the future as either a patch or dlc.

It's a given that there will almost certainly be more Muppets and Toy Story DLC, seeing how the Collector's Edition DLC didn't represent the main characters from either franchise (Woody/Buzz for Toy Story, and probably Kermit for Muppets). likely to be more Tron costumes too I reckon.

I'd like to see Crash Bandicoot DLC (classic version if possible C: ), and more Disney stuff (Mickey mouse! and Monsters.INC .etc)
and I'd love Mm to do another Community costume design contest, what with costumes able to be transparent/animated now

+GIANT Sackbots

+MOAR MATERIALS!

DLC:COSTUMES
THE ultimate DLC Costume pack for LBP is a no brainer: Costumes for every single Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts character to date
an anime costume pack would be nice. I wouldn't mind going around as a Shinigami, Major Kusanagi, or a Gundam mech costume

More reasonably, I want more tron costumes. Disney probably will too

Then again, more Sony mascot costumes:
A four pack with Sly, Carmelita, Bentley, and Murray, with a level pack to boot.

I think a star wars DLC pack would be pretty neat and possible for Mm to do. If they were to release any packs soon I think it would be starwars, but other than that I would say that for each (select) ps3 game you have you would get one or two costumes or stickers ex: Batman Arkham Asylum you would get a batman and joker costume, or Call of Duty MW2 you would get ghost.- Bbody2011-02-23 02:20:00

I'm somewhat stating the obvious, but...

MOAR INSTRUMENTZ!! I must express my CREATIVE AND ORCHESTRATIVE PROWNESS!!! Synths is NOT ENOUGH!!!

I need trumpets, saxophones, REAL electric guitar, tribal drums, flutes, clarinets, trombones, acoustic guitars, random animal noises, violins, fiddles, banjos, harmonicas, keyboards, yodels, and basically many more instruments!! I'll gladly throw down $8-15 bucks for all of it!!

I think they should start releasing more useful generic theme-based packs because the range of stickers, costume bits, materials, decorations and sounds are currently too arbitrary. Like flags of the world sticker pack, military pack with various uniform and equipment bits, science pack with labcoats and safety visors and flasks and such, vehicle pack with more tires and various bits and details for a variety of vehicle types. A school pack with desks and chairs and such. Things like that. Not as sexy as a Star Wars pack, but far more useful in general.

Oh, and fonts. It would be nice to have more fonts. The three you end up with from playing LBP 1 & 2 are practically unreadable...

Okay, guys.. Just a little tidbit.. If you make a costume pack for say.. well. the ever popular Star Wars.. Do any of you know what a copyright is? MM would have to pay the CR holders to use these products. Star Wars for one.. well.. Do you really want a $30 pack containing 4 costumes and a couple of stickers? yeah.. didn't think so.2011-02-23 18:07:00

Hmm...I like to see any new type of DLC really as long as it's something that will be of use to me but if I had to pick something specially then I'd love a Final Fantasy level pack because that's one of my favourite games
Characters costumes, FF sounds including the old fanfare would be cool and lots of stickers and stuff
That would be awesome but sadly I don't see that ever happening but it would be cool if it did

^^ This. SuckerPunch just recently revealed a trailer for Sly 4 if you beat all three games in the Sly Collection that recently came out earlier this winter. Although the point of the bently costume would be pointless, as we already have a turtle costume via the "More Animals" Costume pack, I would gladly take a Clockwork or mugshot costume any day! If that didnt work, you could always include the trademark Bently Wheelchair or glasses. B)

Another awesome PS3 exclusive level pack would be an Uncharted: Amoung Theives pack. The pack would contain Nathan Drake, Chloe Fraiser, and if you like a little bit of evil in your costume chest, Lazavic, and Harry Flynn.
The infamous train level would be pretty imaginable, as MM has made various continuously moving levels, such as the traffic level in the Marvel Pack, or the Steam Train level in Victorias Labritory world of LBP2's story mode.
As well as grabbable rope (Apptly titled: Rope) That would work like string, but interact with objects like another object would, and would be grabbable, and be able to be affected by pulleys and other clever ideas.

As posted by grayspence, Uncharted/Uncharted 2 DLC is almost mandatory for a game that does PS-exclusive based content. I'm thinking they should create a $10 DLC pack with a la the MGS pack, which would include a bunch of different types of DLC including costumes, stickers, materials, and music. Here's what I think:

Levels: A forest/ruins exploration level, a train level, a mountain level, and a temple level.
Costumes: Drake (hair, jeans, half-tuck, and bandoleer), Elena (hair, shirt, jeans), Sully (hair, shirt, jeans- includes revolver in holster), Chloe (hair, top), Flynn (hair, heist shirt), Tenzen (hat, hair, coat- includes knife in sheath on back), Lazarevic (skin, shirt- with shotgun on back, pants), Guardian (skin, monster costume, bottom, top -with crossbow on back), Minigun Mutant (Mask, body, legs)

Stickers/Decorations (for sure): Spanish coin, phurba dagger, Cintimani stone, Cintimani drawing, Uncharted logo, metal storage crate, sack-skeleton (full)

Objects (for sure): explosive propane tank (grabbable, destroyed by projectiles), machine gun turret (non-working), stone gears, candelabra

Materials (for sure): Ancient stone, blue sap, old brass, Shambala metal (engraved), Shambala stone (engraved), weeds (in the stone category)

That's all I have for now. Any suggestions?

Halo won't happen, unfortunately (a Master Chief costume would be epic).

But, I'd like a Crash Bandicoot pack, dinosaurs, army style (I wish they'd make a gun prop. Would make creating much easier for certain levels) - basically, I just want more. Not to wear, but just because they're useful for making levels.

I'd also like more costumes like the Curators from the story mode. You know... not sack-folk.

Ive' got ideas!

Megaman costume pack: Includes following costumes: Megaman, Rock, Roll, Dr. Light, Dr. Wily, Protoman, and Bass. A major costume item will also be boy and girl anime eyes.

Megaman level pack: Dr. Wily has revived 8 of his best robot masters to take over little big planet. And it's up to you to stop him. Powerups include a mega buster weapon and a tweakable megabuster weapon. Kind of like a hand mounted creatinator, but can hold 8 different emitted objects or powers

Star Wars costume pack: 6 uniques packs! Pack 1:Qui Gon Jin, Princess of Naboo, Jar Jar, Darth Maul, Padme, Young Anakin
Pack 2: Young Boba, General Grevious, Count Dooku, Droid, Jango Fett, Clone Trooper
Pack 3:Mace Windu, Older Anakin, Senator Palpatine,Yoda, Obi Wann, Trade Federation guy
Pack 4: Ben Kenobi, C3P0, Luke(tatooine) Leia, Han Solo, Chewbaca
Pack 5: Lando, Darth Vader, Stormtropper, X wing pilot, Luke(bespin), Bobba Fett
Pack 6: Luke(final Battle), The Emperor, Battle Damaged Darth Vader, Gost Yoda, Ghost Anakin, Ghost Obi Wan

Star Wars Level pack: Includes lightsaber power up.
These are the packs that I would REALY like to see

What I really want is a gadget you can attach to a piece of material that will give it the on/off attribute of holograms. Meaning any material can be a hologram. That would make for much clearer and more opaque sprites without the the current need to have a black or very dark background, as well as not being able to use black in any holograms as it just shows up transparent.

I couldn't care less about costumes, sorry guys.

Here's hoping they introduce the LBP1 background as a DLC in LBP2. I really miss that background. Some might say it was boring and plain, but I think it was quaint and charming and I loved it. Plus the materials to re-create the original blue-green planet from LBP1 would be nice too. But that's less likely, I'm sure. Oh, and the LBP menu music. You know the one I mean. Yeah. Okay, I'm stretching credibility now. But the LBP1 background as a DLC? Easy peasy, I'm sure.2011-03-04 15:29:00

i have it in lbp2.
just have lbp1 XD, it trasfers!

NOTE: did you know, if you change the bground and change it bacck to the quilt, you will have a bit of thermo increase.
NOTE2: the lbp1 bground takes up less thermo then the lbp2 statard bground XD

People spend hours making fonts, which I think is well spent time in create mode.
But then you want to use this font to write text and the only way to do this is to carefully place each and every character, one by one. It takes forever! And it has nothing to do with skill or creativity. It's just a chore!

The solution to this: The Font Editor!

You make your font and then you map the different sprites to the different characters in a virtual keyboard.
Here you would have to line up the sprites inside some sort of box and at the same time you can customize spacing and such.
Wouldn't that be sweet?

It actually surprises me that they haven't added a Text tool anyways.

-Making it possible to stick more than just 5 stickers on your sackling.
-Decorations that we put on our sackling would appear too on our comments/reviews picture instead of just the stickers.
-A material that is able to contain water so that we can make stuff like pools and bathtubs, Or a tool that creates that effect on the materials it is used.
-Zero gravity (floating around without falling) and inverted gravity (going up against the ceiling)
-Water-proof sackbots
-Sackbots can use all the power-ups
-Tweakable sackbots options so that hazards won't kill them.
-Follower tool option to make it follow Player(s) 1/2/3/4 and just that said player (is it possible to make this with logic right now? i'm not sure)

Costumes/stickers DLC:
-We don't have DC Comics costumes and stickers yet, do we? It'd be nice if there were as many packs of this as there are Marvel Comics' packs. Batman, Superman, Joker, Mr. Freeze, Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, Bane, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, etc.
-Preorder DLC (Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank) costumes available for purchase, as well as Sly Cooper costumes. They're ONLY Playstation's most important heroes ever.
-Why are there so many girl hairdos and almost none for guys? Some free male hairstyles with normal appearance and color would be nice.
-Mass Effect costumes.

Stickers: The secret stickers from lbp1.
Costumes: Alien & Predator costumes, Crash Bandicoot, animal pack 3 (bear, ostrich, giraffe, dog), snowpaper skin, gasmask, Resident Evil Costumes.

- for sackbot have an option so you can choice for it to be able to be killed when it touches it or not to.
- have water drops so u can make a pool without flooding the whole lvl and it wont get destoryed after it touches somthing
-Have a fat suit to make ur fav fat charatcers
-Have a all the characters from the fresh prince of bel air.(al though i doubt they will put one since the shows benn close for years)
-be able to edit a lvl that u copied that has DLC that u dont have andyou could still edit the lvl but the DLC will be removed

That could fall into the "DC Comics costumes" category, if a DC pack was as extensive as the Marvel Comics Pack.

Bad future pack:
--Materials
- Cobalt black metal
- Kevlar grabbable
- Evil Electronics (red LEDs duh.)
- Futuristic Barbed wire (it's laser!) (tweakable laser colours, default red.)
- Reinforced glass (has a metal edge rather than a glass one...)
- Dark cityscape materials such as tiles shaped as hexagons.

--Music
- An originally composed piece. Atmospheric.

--Power-ups
-Handheld creationator. Has a gauge, so you can hold in the button to shoot further.

--Stickers
- Oh just the usual, like warning signs, a NICE font like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/06/Haettenschweiler2.png/220px-Haettenschweiler2.png or something, but dirty and worn so we can have some new letters.
Alot of stickers to make things look worn down.

I haven't thought about the levels yet, but I bet it would be pretty cool. It'd be all dystopian and stuff.

Odd world Munch's oddessy. This would be an amazing pack!

Costumes: Abe, Munch, Slig, Scrab, Boss Man, Various scrubs

Power ups: different vending machines with tweakable times (ex. Speed, Jump, Invisibiliy)

New option that allows any form of player sensor to be disabled when invisibility is active, meaning you could actually 'sneak' by enemies.

If MM made levels for this, just imagine how epic they would be

Id like to see some level packs, something like the Pirates of The Caribbean one.
Like based of a movie series, they have worked with Disney a lot so surely theres plenty to choose from.

The Pirates of The Caribbean is my favorite of the DLC. Just had a lot of character with the distinct themes, materials, objects music and the new game play mechanic (water).
Just thought the levels were really fun a refreshing and would love to see more like that.

Id also like to see more original costumes.
Im not a big fan of the over the top gimmicky licensed DLC costumes.
Would like to see general stuff that is more of a blank canvas for you to build upon.

Too bad that will never happen. Sony wouldn't let that happen.

why not? because they're "rivals"?

I could see almost like a village people costume pack, you know, a cop, indian, contruction worker, and other occupations, basic stuff with optimal "costume"ization.

Well honestly I can't think of a shiny new item pack,
But I'd like to see some more music packs.

Especially if they got licensing from other bands. (Personally an Endless Sporadic music pack would fit nicely )

Except this would probably get shot down since the game has a music sequencer.

they should get Touhou DLC. It would be EPIC and get them a lot of new players and fans They should get Marisa, Flandre, Remilia, and Cirno for the first pack. I'm sure they would be big sellers and get a lot of attention for LBP.(i hope that MM reads this because that would be the best DLC i could think of.http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs49/f/2009/170/4/0/Flandre_scarlet_by_Atlas_kei.jpg

Halo won't happen, unfortunately (a Master Chief costume would be epic).

But, I'd like a Crash Bandicoot pack

I'd also like more costumes like the Curators from the story mode. You know... not sack-folk.

amen, brother!

I'd definitely like to see a 1940's/film noir/art deco pack. There are some materials, costume pieces, and stickers that are scattered around, but they all aren't exactly what I had in mind. I'd like some music for it, too.

I's also like a rock show mini-pack. I've been experimenting with making stages and instruments, and the guitar is always the most difficult item to make. I also wish I could get two sticks in a sackbot's hand for drumsticks. Right now, I'm stuck with one.

While I have absolutely no idea what this would fit under, I'd like it if I could make my sackperson or sackbot chubby. There are already specific costume pieces that make their bodies look more feminine, or give them ears, etc. This could be another variable to add more diversity to scenes, or just for general personalization.

These aren't dire, but I think they'd be nice to have.

Sorry, but I doubt a Halo costume would come to fruition, what with it being Xbox exclusive, and LBP being PS3 exclusive.

I'm going to suggest this every thread like this I come across:
TRANSFORMERS 3
That is all.

A New world: Creator/level pack
-Levels:
Just one: Enter the new world! (Gallery level)

-Materials:
Bricks(Stone)
Short fur blue(Sponge)
Short fur red(Sponge)
Hexaplating(metal)
Octaplating(metal)
Et much more...

-Funcional materials:
These works somehow "special"
Glow: This material is invisible, but keeps glow around itself
Water: You know what...
Tiny bits: A material made up from tiny bits of chosen material(much like quicksand)
Invisible: Invisible, but solid to sackboy/objects/both

-Stickers:
a lot of them...

-Decorations:
a bit, like from a new dimension(trasparent flowers etc.)

-Gameplay tools:
Teleporter: teleports sackboy from Sender to Reciever(tweakable), activated by pressing triangle or automatically

-Objects:
Pulse light(ligths) Pulses from it's middle, but can be tweaked by animation speed, different colours)

Any more ideas?

First of all, whoever said a Portal pack made my day. After all, it is also for PS3. And also, you can kind of make invisible walls without dark matter. Just use a button or a 2/3-way switch and set it to invisible in play mode.2011-09-03 23:37:00

How about player-color versions of the regular, cartoon, long lash, and neon eyes? Or eyes that can change color otherwise.

As for different Sackbot physiques, see my Sackbot Models (http://crossfire7.deviantart.com/art/Sackbot-Models-215684299) picture.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Costume Pack:
-Adam Jensen: Skin with augmentations, coat, hair, beard, pants, retractable glasses (they could activate when you use any emotion), cybernetic arms with those blades coming out when we wave them (for the hands section, of course).
-Other important characters. I haven't actually played the game yet but I guess they could include the badass giant that yells "You'll never find 'em!" in the trailer, Adam's girlfriend and David Sarif, if there aren't more iconic characters;

Level Kit:
-Stealth powerup: makes you invisible Predator-style, like seen in the trailer and gameplay videos. Useful for sneaking through enemies. Could last a certain time or until the player runs into a powerup remover;
-Futuristic city background;
-Various materials with sci-fi textures, especially metals and plastic like seen in the game.
-Stickers of icons, places, characters and objects like the ones from the game.
-Premade prizes like the dropship, turrets, and patrol bots
-New sounds, especially in the UI, Sci-fi and Electronics category
-New music
-5 Deus Ex-related awesome levels with exciting gameplay to wrap it up nicely.
-1 versus mini-level, similar to the hacking mini-game seen in Human Revolution.

MM, do this. NAO!

Since they made an Ape Escape Basic Pipo Monkey costume, why not continue and make more?
They could add the sunglassed monkey, those demon monkeys from Pumped n Primed, Spectre, they could make an entire level theme for them.
And don't stop there!
They could add a big powerup pack so you can have some of the gadgets from the series!

I'd like to second this, because I've cleared Deus Ex: Human Revolution while ago.
For costume pack, I'd like to see Adam Jensen with all those cool stuff you mentioned. Other characters would be big guy Barrett, Yelena, the news reporter Eliza Cassan and David Sariff. Stealth power-up would be pretty cool, if you think how does it exacly work.
Once activated, it will get you pass player sensors without activating it or sackbots won't notice you if they're supposed to following you hostile or not.
The whole DLC level kit would be made kid-friendly like Metal Gear Solid DLC so no blood, flying augmented limbs and cussing.

WipEout HD pack (2)?

Since the controlinator and stuff, loads of people have made great top-down racer levels, so why not something more futuristic?

The pack would contain the original 12 livery ships: Feisar, Piranha, AG Systems, Goteki 45, etc but both top down and side-on. Also, a few music tracks from the game (must include "Kraftwerk: Aerodynamik - Alex Gopher & Etienne de Crecy Mix") and perhaps a sound object with most of the sound effects and speech for weapons and events (for example: "Contender eliminated", "Gold medal awarded", "Rockets", "Mines"). It would also be cool if it were a level pack comprising the original 8 tracks. I'd like to try Chenghou Project top-down, because I'm strange like that. Also more stickers!

BIG GAME FRANCHISES

Uncharted pack (Drake, Sully, Elena, Chloe)
Twisted Metal pack (Sweettooth)
Starhawk pack (main character.mech)
Darksiders pack (War, Death)
Castlevania pack (Gabriel Belmont)
Devil May Cry pack (Dante, Vergil, Trish, Mary)
Dead Space pack (Isaac)
Mass Effect pack (Male Shep, Fem Shep)
Bayonetta pack (Bayo, Jeanne... and Kamiya would agree on this one)
Prince Of Persia pack (various Prince skins)
Warhammer pack
Dark Souls pack
Ninja Gaiden pack

Basically the idea is that every big game release should have at least 1 downloadable DLC up for $1.99
This would be a mine of gold imho

Also a Shueisha manga/anime pack containing at least Monkey D. Luffy, Naruto, Ichigo
That would be a big seller in Japan

1/ generic backdrops but more to scale than the ones we currently have. forests, ravines, meadows, mountains, an ocean with distant islands... that sort of thing.
2/ a lot more realistic stickers would also be appreciated.
3/ now we have the sticker panel, i'd also like a handful of parts to animate, from the side, the front and the back. these could be themed as are most of the other packs. there are many cartoon characters that would be perfect for level making

... I would think that they should have a water material, that doesn't disappear on impact, so that we can actually make fish tanks, pools, etc. Also I would like to see a way to make our own stickers on lbp, with out a back ground, when not using an extinct glitch. Then if this was done, I believe that they should add a way (LBP3) to make costumes out of a material, in some sort of editor, so that every sack person is 100% different,
how ever 1st things first I WANT NON-DESTROY ABLE WATER that doesn't fill the whole level!

Buy the Move pack. they added A sticker creator in there.

I have no idea what your asking for here. we can change their skin material already. now if your asking for just a costume creator so we can make our own LBP2 story mode like characters. then yeah that be cool. but MM would never do it as they'd not get money that way like they do now when selling us costumes as DLC. *mew

how ever 1st things first I WANT NON-DESTROY ABLE WATER that doesn't fill the whole level![/I] Yeah they should add a option to make it so water only fills up 1/2/3 layers. but like i said. we won't be getting water material, but it would be nice if they made it so we could limit to it smaller spaces instead of the whole level.

Instead of focusing on new costumes or stickers or even materials, I think we need a powerup pack.
There are still lots of things sackboy can't do, even with Sackbots and logic and whatnot.

We could have:

Boots that let you run up walls and on ceilings
Sticky gloves that let you cling to walls and wall jump
Some doodad that lets you do some kind of combo attack. Boxing gloves or a sword maybe?
And powerup combinations! Imagine! Flying around on your jetpack while shooting a paintinator. That would be great for making battle arena levels.

Magic pack:adds a new set of 'other story' levels,a wizard consume,a witch costume, and a new power up:levitation wand. looks like a black and white magician's wand. controlled with Rstick, lets you move grabbable objects vertically with Lstick. Grabbable items will glow blue. May seem a bit out of place so...

Future pack: has a set of 'other story' levels,a robot costume, and a new power up:tractor beam. does the same as levitation wand, but looks like a paintinator with no tank.

Even though many ideas for powerups can be done by logic, it'd still be cool to receive more powerups because:
1) many people just don't get along with logic more complex than AND gates
2) It'd spare thermo
3) It'd be more reliable than logic (unless it comes with some retarded bug)

Even if stuff can already be done manually, making standard powerups makes creating easier. Like for example we now have bounce pads instead of going with the trouble of making custom bounce contraptions. Sure, you can still do it custom if you want to be original, but standard bounce pads are easier to handle when creating.
And we can make creatinators with logic. Just make a hologram with an emmiter follow a player or sackbot. But if you want a simple shooting powerup, the creatinator just makes the job easier, more flexible and with less logic to complicate it.

A film noir pack? Honestly, dressing my sackboy and fellow sackbots like Dana Andrews would be pretty awesome.

The portal dlc would be epic. I was thinking that too, the materials could be the white wall panels, black wall panels, maybe some stuff from old aperture too...

Not sure if it's been said in here yet, but I'd like to see Jak & daxter, Ratchet & Clank, sly cooper level kits to go with the costumes that are already there. the J&D kit could have the four colors of Eco from the first game as powerups, one of the materials could be precursor metal (with the markings and stuff on it), R&C kit could have something like a chip you could put on a sackbot or somewhere in the level that allows you to use quick-select to pick from various items (like different creatinators) by hitting triangle without using a sackbot with complicated emitters, holorgrams, etc., and maybe a material that would be like a 3D space kind of thing. As in, it's not the 3D layers, it's a (possibly animated?) material that would look like infinite space with stars and stuff, kinda like end portals in minecraft. The sly kit could have lasers that would act like player sensors (like the spotlights from the MGS kit).

There's my ideas

Darksiders pack! With outfits for War, Samael, The Watcher, Vulgrim, Uriel, Ulthane, and the various enemies! New music! New Materials, like Daemonic Growth! New Sounds! New Decorations! A Sword powerup!

And, while we're at it. the ability to decorate Grapple Guns, Grabinators and so on would be nice.

Haha, more portal ideas :
-Portal-gun (with color settings)
-White panels
-White small-checkered panels
-White "insert-portal-here" checkered panels (remember, those small squares hinting where to place it...)
-Dark panels
-Dark smal-checkered panels
-Air vent (allows to shoot through but not to walk through)
-Air tubes - they can be set to attract nothing/player (and bots)/storage cubes
-Storage Cube
-Demotivation Laser
-Motivation cube
-Companion cube
-Pillar-buttons
-Cube-tweak (makes any material behave like cubes - be attracted by air tubes and set buttons on when they are on them and can be grabbed with the portal gun
-White-tweak (makes materials behave like white panels)
-Bounce gel projectile (paints the object in blue like paintinator, triggers the projectile sensor of same type
-Speed gel projectile (paints the object in orange, triggers the projectile sensor)
-New material tweaker setting, stop bouncing when player holds circle (on-off)
-Superspeed-tweak (makes the material super slippery, making you slide on it)
(you could use the projectile sensor with the gels to trigger bounciness or superspeed tweakers)
-Portal turret - shoots portals while rotating, tweakable, gives portal gun.
-Portal door : object which displays a portal when on. Only the last portal of a color can be there at a time (so shooting after activating this will disable this)
-Ennemy turret
-Broken turret
-Song turret
-Cake
-GlaDOS
-Corrupted cores
-Deadly water material
-Light bridge
-Attraction beam

See, that would be impossible. Too much to build. If they could just fix the broken DLC, that would be a good start - Paint tool, anyone?

Good ideas, but there's a couple things: the superspeed/bounce tweakers are basically already there in the material tweaker's bounce / friction settings. Also, I don't really see the need for a separate cube object, maybe just a sticker, as we can basically do that already with the red button and a block of just about any material. It would be cool to have a portal themed button that behaves the same though2012-04-04 15:15:00

Yeah, but using blocks to press buttons lags a lot. Haha, I just wanted to make the biggest possible list. And the bounce tweak, I know, I told it. Friction doesn't boost you enough for me though, and it's actually harder to start running from a slippery surface. But yeah, then you just have to test the sackbot/sackperson's speed to make the material slippery only when allready running.2012-04-05 00:04:00

Sorry to break your Portal discussion (which I aprove on many levels), but I have an idea.

Dohvakiin Costume DLC.
Just the Doovahkiin costume. I would pay all of my money just to have a Dragonborn helmet.

I'd kind of like an elements pack of stickers and decorations. I know we have a few here and there, but a sticker pack for spell-effects like ice, fire, wind, earth, lightning, water etc but in various shapes and contexts, such as swirls, so on and so on, and animated decorations with various lighting effects or what have you. I'd like those for my Last Hope game.2012-04-05 14:22:00

I think it would be nice to have a video recording "logic" (like a Magic Mouth)! It could be very useful for a tutorial level and it might have feature like Picture-In-Picture; It records the game screen, with it using the PS-Eye to record you, then placing that in the corner of the recording. Maybe they could call it the "Production Pack", or something of that nature!2012-06-29 23:15:00

Portal Pack:
Chell costume ( with portal gun in hand section)
Vocaloid Pack 1:
Every single girl vocaloid
Vocaloid pack 2: every single boy vocaloid

I know each pack will probably be $30 - $40 but I would pay that just so I can stop using stickers :3

- - - - - - - - - -

Also a general decorations pack
A school pack with a bookbag and cheerleader costume ( no pigtails! )
A general costume pack with normal eyes and stuff
And... For the portal pack a portal gun in hand section as I said and a portal gun powerup

- - - - - - - - - -

I keep forgetting things! A mario pack with mario, luigi, princess peach, princess daisy, and princess Rosalina would be cool. so would a legend of zelda pack with zelda, and link, etc

Also a tmnt pack with the tmnt, April, karai, shredder and baddies.
Also a menu for the mini sackboy so it can look like you! So if your dressed as princess peach you can go into the mini sackboy menu and it's the same as the normal menu. Also multiple minecraft packs and a wreck it ralph pack and a rise of the guardians pack. Also disney things like Minnie Mouse and frozen. Whew! I wish I could work with them to make these costumes
