Placing nodes outside of chips

Seems like it would come in handy when running wires from things to objects in a level to be able to place a wire node on a wall.

ex: a randomizer to a large group of lights that are far away, 3 way to a set of spinning wheels on the wall, and a door or something.

it'd mean one wire coming out of a switch or chip traveling to the input location, where it then splits, instead of 3 wires stretching across at slightly different heights & angles. if you ever wanted to make wires visible in the level for visual effect, it would allow you to manage their appearance & direction, without needing the now-visible microchip or gadget in plain sight or on a certain plane.

That's a good idea. The wires from the last game looked pretty realistic (though I'd want to keep their current appearance inside Create just they way they are - easier to work with)2011-02-09 21:35:00
